Works great on a 2017 Caravan, LEVEL 10 DIFFICULTY

Works really well on a 2017 Dodge Caravan, even though it supposedly wasn’t compatible (it is EXACTLY THE SAME). My recommendation is not to take on this project unless you are really willing to suffer. I am a mechanic, and it took close to 8-hours to complete. The tear down is super easy, and replacing the part is fairly quick, however installing the panel back in is an absolute nightmare. If you take on the repair, be sure that the top part of the window track/rail is slipped over the bracket not behind it (will save you a TON of hassle) and be sure to have someone to help with reassembly.

Works as expected and still working well after one month -- it is so nice having the power door locks working!

Not as easy to install as I would have liked, but this is a Dodge / Chrysler issue for NOT placing the HOLE to access the release screw in the correct place for the passenger-side sliding door. I ended up drilling a hole as many have suggested, but before doing so, I wedged a piece of wood between the old lock actuator and metal that I needed to drill through to stop the drill bit from damaging anything after making its hole through the metal.

Also make sure to test this lock actuator before you install it by plugging it in to the old actuator's plug.

Then test it again after installing it, but before putting the door panels back on again by closing the door and making sure it actually locks and unlocks -- make sure to get the LOCK PIN (the part that actually locks and unlocks the door) back in the correct groove of the rotating arm (see YouTube videos for details)!

Change 2006 Chrylser Town and Country passenger Sliding Door lock actuator motor. Had to unscrew housing unit holding actuator motor and also disconnect metal rod at its far end because I could not release the rod from the actuator clip. Everything else was easy. This actuator was cheap than others. Good price and works - can't ask for more.
