My excitement came to a painful end on 1st time use, but b4 the 6pk arrived, I bought the 12pk of floral scents too. Plus my recipe card was AWOL (u can see it in photos from other reviewers).
Unfortunately lack of essential oil knowledge/experience lead to this purchase. The Old Saying Is Ss True, You Get What You Pay For!
I saw the price, the advertisement & believed they were Pure Essential Oils (it said so right on the packaging). How do I know they're not?
I now know from researching, only to buy from reputable (Australian) companies that have 2nd party independently certified products & the results are readily available. Oils are expensive, you just can't get the top used 6 essential oils for under $20. (usually $10 per 1 10ml bottle).
The packaging/branding is lovely & delivery was super speedy, but that's where good news ends.
They are weak in smell compared to other brands, colours differ too.
I used a combination of 2 drops each of Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus & Peppermint (antiseptic/antibacterial/anti inflammatory) in a saltwater warm footbath for an infection, but my toe became severely infected overnight doubling in size (was so painful, red raw, felt like it wanted to burst filled with puss)!
I then swapped brands, using an Aussie company's oils in the salt water footbath & its Lavender (neat on the infection) & it started to clear immediately.
I won't use Asakuki on my skin, in cosmetics/ lotions nor inhaling by a diffuser.
I believe they're cut with something other than 100% essential oil & I only reccommend using Asakuki for fragrance/air freshener/candle making. Honestly I may give to charity. I would not gift them to anyone.
Buyer Beware: of oils that do not display the scientific name of the plant on the label and just because it says 100% pure or certified don't believe it, do your research 1st. And check reviews, especially bad reviews, ask friends what they use as essential oils have no governing body/regulator.
I don't like writing bad reviews, but don't want others to have my experience either. Sorry Asakuki ☹
