Avengers: Infinity War - Synopsis
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios' 'Avengers: Infinity War' brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

I decided to look again at each of them starting with Thor, the first movie that I did not like at all. And I realized that my point of view changed entirely. I made a switch of 180 degree. Even that movie became entertaining and it created a crave for more. My perception of it was so different that I could see things that I did not see the first time and got deeply interested about details that I also miss. It was easier to follow the story after that. I put some more attention on the special effects as well and was truly amazed.
I took a long time for Marvel to get me in their ranks, but the last four movies that I mentioned earlier finished the job. I love the actors who play Thor and Loki, and I discovered a new one to follow with Doctor Strange and Kate Blanchett always have been one of my favorites. So all of them together in a series of movies of this genre make them very, but very entertaining.
Try it, nothing to lose and you might love it to.
AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR has a lot of killing dying, murder war battles and funny at times witch I liked. AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR is a movie about supper hero's saving the universe. You have the Avengers, Spiderman, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange Black Panther all in one movie what a cast. I mention that patients be present with young kids if they are to watch this because the killing and murdering is very emotional, I even felt sad and could not believe how far this movie went to make it real. All in All I love this movie. Thanos is trying to get all the stones across the universe, He kills what ever is his why to get the stones to make him most powerful in the Universe threw his quest to get the stones he kills planets and what ever life is there, beings. There is a great battle on earth and at the end the avengers and who ever fights Thanos and his army are in a battle for the universe. Love this movie can't wait for part 2. Enjoy.

For the uninitiated:
This brings together lots of subplots that have been going on in these films since they began. So you might be a bit stumped as to what's going on if you've not seen all of them.
And you do need to keep watching it to the very end of the end credits.
For those who have seen it already, or somehow didn't manage to get to it at the cinema:
There's no point in me discussing the film, because you will have your own opinion, or will be seeing it regardless.
So let's just review the dvd itself. Review the product. As per the amazon guidelines on reviewing.
The disc begins with a generic trailer/ad for Marvel studios. Which can be skipped via the next button on the dvd remote.
Language and subtitle options are:
Languages: English, German, Turkish.
Subtitles: English, Danish, Finnish, German, Icelandic, Norwegian, Swedish, Turkish.
It's also English audio captioned.
And as with all these Marvel movies on dvd for a while now, there are no extras on the disc whatsoever.
And that's all the information that can be given about this product. Hope it helps.
An outstanding culmination of the last ten years of Marvel films. It brings genuine dread, humour and suspense throughout. The opening scene with Thor, Loki and Hulk is pivotal, setting the tone for the rest of the film and creating a high stakes drama. I can't quite believe how they managed to pull off such a brilliant film with so many characters and so much history, but they couldn't have done it any better.
The 4K UHD disc:
The best way to see the film - brilliant clarity and colours viewed on a LG OLED TV. That said, the difference from the standard HD Blu-ray is not that great, so I am not sure the extra £12 (at time of review) is worth it. But for such a great film, you want the best picture if you can justify it.
The extras were also rather rubbish with the odd featurette and gag reel. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this below par format. This film deserved better,
Visually the film is vibrant and stunning, nearly all of the Marvel comic universe characters make an appearance to challenge THANOS who’s characters ambitions are, in a twisted way, noble.
On the down side, the sheer scale and ambition of the film can make the film seem a little bogged down at times with so many characters, you sometimes wonder whether some of them were really required to make the film or whether they were simply shoehorned into the plot, merely for cameo appearances. But that’s a minor gripe, Infinity Wars is a must see for marvel fans.
The film is an avengers film. It’s good fun. My guess is that whoever is buying the UHD release has already seen the film and enjoyed it considering the price point being too extreme for a first time watcher.
Four stars as I really think Disney should be releasing true native 4K pressings, considering most of the film was shot and mastered between 6K and 8K
