TLDR: After first curing stage, press down HARD with both thumbs on fingerprint sensor area prior for at least a minute to thin the glue in the area prior to second cure and fingerprint sensor should work!
Before I review the product, I want to mention that Alinsea customer service is superb. I followed the instructions to install this screen protector on my s10+ meticulously to the letter, and my fingerprint sensor did not work. I emailed Alinsea and they sent me a free replacement to try again. It STILL didn't work, so they offered to give my money back, no fuss.
I moved on and purchased the (much more expensive) Whitestone Dome Glass protector. It costs way more, but I think that's just because of a nicer UV light and the use of a tray instead of foam to level the phone.
Now, the IMPORTANT part: Whitestone has an extra step in the curing process where they ask you to press hard on the fingerprint sensor area after the first cure for 30-60 seconds. Doing this thins the glue in that area, and the fingerprint sensor works as if no case is even there. I'm sure that if this step were included in the Alinsea setup, there would be no issues.
In contrast, Whitestone customer service was a bit more of a pain to deal with. If I could go again, I'd buy the Alinsea one. Enjoy.
