This was the perfect jacket to get through a cold Toronto winter. It goes longer than the waist and has a large hood to add additional warmth. The details on the front closures and waist adds a nice touch. I couldn’t give it 5 stars though as the liner started to wear along the seam by the end of the winter season.

I purchased a medium which fits nicely - it is so warm but on the other hand to wear a hoodie or 2 layers on the top is quite snug. Nevertheless I am not sending it back as Amazon no longer uses Canada Post for returns, it can take up to 2-1/2 weeks to get a credit on your account with Purolator & dropping it off at a place like "Michael's" you have no ppwk to prove u are sending it back in exchange or for credit. Its a shame Purolator was awarded Amazon's contract now vs Canada Post.

The jacket is very nice for the price, it’s very warm and has great details. The fit is a little weird, like the arms are slightly short but the shoulders are a little wide? The jacket can make you look a little fat lol. So if you are bigger and not wanting to look bigger this jacket is not for you. I am 5’5 and around 130, and got this in a medium and it doesn’t flatter me at all lol but it’s warm and I live in Canada and will be using it because I value warmth over anything lol. You really cannot beat the price for what you get. The jacket is incredibly well made.

I purchased this coat on November 10/21 as I needed a warmer coat to wear when I'm taking care of my horses during the winter season. It arrived very quickly, on November 13/21 to be exact. I can honestly say that I'm very happy with my purchase as the coat is doing all that I need it to do and then some. The two way zipper is a great feature for me. The only thing I would change on the coat (if I could) would be to have a zipper on the hood. Other than that it ticks all the boxes.

It definitely fit but because it was so lined with sherpa in the body area, it was super unflattering. It made me look twice my size and made my already broad shoulders look even more broad. So as it was a nice coat, the look of it on my body was a no go. I ended up returning mine.

I loved the red one that came first but I’m nearly 6ft tall with broad shoulders and the back and shoulders felt a bit tight. So I waited for the black XL to arrive. . . It had very obviously been worn extensively & then returned. Tons of hair all over it & the fleece lining was matted down. Not cool at all, especially in this time of CoVid. I expect better of Amazon. I needed a coat so badly for my son’s first track meet this week and I won’t have a new one until after the track meet. Hopefully this one is new and clean this time.

Warm and Comfy for A Mid-West Rancher Woman

My wife likes it overall, but there are both good and bad points of navy blue 2XL parka:
Good: Warm, comfy, and durable for Mid-West Winter ranch work. Covers most of her thighs and has strong buttons on a storm flap over the ample zipper. Surface sheds water and minimizes soil invasion. Resists barbed wire snags, too. Doesn't attract lint and hay particles. Seams appear sewn very well.
Bad: Wife is normally size 14. Most women's coats in XL are large on her. First ordered XL in the parka (due to comments) and it stopped & gapped 3-inches from zipping up~! Had to return and reorder up to a 2XL which fits fine. There are only two outside pockets and NONE inside. And the outside pockets are very shallow with a thin lining which keys can penetrate. She's thinking of sewing in her own inside cell phone pocket. For $60 seems one should already be there.

So I now have an Amazon Essentials microwave, coffee pot and winter coat. I have to say I will always buy Amazon Essentials when it comes to just about anything I shop for, they have proven themselves time and time again. So I bought this coat because I needed something considerably warmer than the jacket I was wearing in Ohio, in the winter. I liked the price and decided, based on the other reviews, that it would be worth my money. OMG, this thing is amazing. First of all, fair warning, it is HUGE. If you have space restrictions or, yah know, don't want to be obtrusive walking through a crowded supermarket while wearing it, then maybe it's not for you. Second, my fiancé immediately pointed out how noisy it is. With the exterior being made of what is presumably going to be a very weather resistant material, you hear every little swish. But none of that matters to me. I'm ok with taking up a little extra space and making some noise considering this coat is the warmest thing I have ever put on. I lived in Florida for five years and since moving back to the mid west I have been extremely sensitive to the cold and in the winter I feel like I can never get warm enough. The past few mornings when I have gone outside wearing my coat, I haven't been cold at all, in fact, I've assumed it's much warmer outside than it really has been because I am just so insolated in this thing. It is a beast, I have named her Helga, but she's incredible. Oh and the sleeves are long enough for my crazy-long arms which almost never happens. The faux fur trim is a really great quality and color as well and I like the faux leather details on the draw strings. The double zipper makes it easy and less cumbersome to sit in the car. Overall it's amazing and I can't believe it was only $60. One final thought, I think this would be an exceptionally nice coat if you are looking for something in this category to donate to a local shelter or someone in need considering it's incredible value and warmth.

Pros: Super warm & cozy

Cons:
The hood is huge and the fur is bulky
You’ll look like a squished sausage
There’s no easy way to put your hands in these awkwardly placed pockets
There’s extra material around the wrist that would have been perfect to add thumb holes
