Amazing! finally some clamps at an affordable price!

These clamps are not cheap. They are strong. The hardware store is price gouging so I needed to find clamps ASAP elsewhere and Amazon came through. I need them for DIY and various projects, but purchased them to hold a tarp over my shed over winter. I think they will be ok. Hoping they last longer than one Canadian winter, but until I can paint and seal that tin roof a tarp will have to do.

I love how sturdy they felt. I literally just got them and I bought them as clamps to keep the covers of my patio furniture from flying away. I really hope they last the Canadian winter but they open so wide and have cushion at the tip so no concerns for damage of my stuff. I just hope they don’t rust or crack in the winter.

When one is tinkering, a type of problem that often comes up is, that one needs extra hands, for example to hold a larger object in-place. The one fact which makes these slightly less than ideal, is the fact that they have movable boots of sorts, on each clamping surface, which also causes them to be too clumsy for some uses. The part needs to be large enough, to accommodate the boots.

These were ok to use, but the plastic feet were incredibly annoying. They move around far too easily, so when you go to clamp them onto something, the feet almost always position themselves the wrong way rather than against the surface clamped onto, or they snap off. This is extremely annoying to deal with, so sent these back.

Strong clamping force and feels solid, doesn't have much wiggle room on the jaw so the bite are aligned.
Plastic construction but the material doesn't flex so no rust concern. Tip of the jaws can pivot for better grip on flat or angled surface. Plus it's a good deal for the price and can't go wrong with it. I use it to secure cables, hang clothes and they're doing a good job.

Large one is hard to open

This comes with small, med, large sized clamps.
Small sized ones opens as wide as medium one.
Medium one only open to less than 1.5”. Not sure it’ll clamp onto some wood picnic tables.
Large ones, I cannot open with one hand. Even with 2 hands, hard to open.
Lighter grey Grip part is plastic, not rubber.
I’m 5’3” for reference.
I think I will still use them
But maybe less than expected. Wanted to use on camping, picnic trips to hold table cloths, garbage bags.

I will visit dollar store snd try to find some for picnics. That are lightweight and easier to use.

They worked as expected. The 4-1/2" can be easily clamped on a 1.5" board to fix the plastic film for my DIY spring house. The opening of 3-3/8 inch pieces is not wide enough to clamp on the board, but they worked very well to tie the film together. 6-inch pieces are a little bit tight to open, might be very easy for men, but I had to use both hands to clamp one on the board.

These arent 1 star but still bad. Trying to even the starts out a bit.
The plastic grips aren't even really attached so the don't spread the weight around. Would be bad for sensitive projects.
Eventually the plastic that 'attaches' them becomes bend too much and wont reattach. Should have returned these.

Ansich bekommt man das was man kauft. Einfache klammern für alle möglichen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten.
Die klammern halten sehr gut. Gerade sie Größen haben ordentlich Druck. Aber leider hat man bei den Auflagen gespart. Gerade die "Köpfe" sind sehr schlecht befestigt. Zum einen sind die Befestigung nicht durchgehen (deshalb fallen bei einer Zwinge immer wieder die Köpfe ab) und zum anderen drehen die sich sehr leicht (dadurch kann das festmachen mit einer Hand manchmal etwas fummelig werden).
