This product was a great price and you receive two adapters!! If you already have two HDMI cords and one isn't long enough for what you need, just connect the one adapter and you won't need to run out to the electronic store to purchase a longer HDMI.

Both adapters were received as described and pictured. They are both functional and seemed to provide a comparable image to that seen without the adapters in place. I tried with several combinations including a 10' extension cable to a 3' cable.

The connections are all exceedingly snug. The width of the plastic housing around the female connectors is comparable to other HDMI cables.

I do not have any devices requiring a 4K or a 3D connection so I cannot attest to video quality at those standards. However, it should do the job for what I require. I will update this review if that changes.

Absolutely fantastic and works great. No signal issues and I’m using it to join a 10m with a 5m hdmi cable. Good build quality and just plug and play.

Would of got 5 stars but could not forgive the wasteful packageing. There was only 2 adapter and simple bag would be fine to pack them in but instead amazon have decided to display them in a large blow moulded inner case and then display that in a rigid cardboard box. Then add the postage box etc and you get a lot of wasted materials for something which is very small and a simple Jiffy bag does the exact same job. Expected more from Amazon.

I intended to use this while my AV receiver is undergoing repair - the intention being to hot swap HDMI cables connecting to the TV for my different inputs.

Tested with PS5, Apple TV 4K and Sky Q, the picture flickers with any kind of complex input - ie, don’t expect this to work well with Dolby Vision or any form of HDR or an input with a high frame rate, eg the PS5. In truth, I have trouble with all of my inputs except for the Sky Q, including the signal from the Apple TV not even showing at all even after power cycling the TV and the Apple TV.

Your mileage may vary and my unit may be faulty, but I can’t say I recommend this purchase.

I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer, reviewer, driver and user of this type of item

I am a prime member and next day delivery was quoted AND CONFIRMED at the point of order and payment taken. It met the delivery claim.

Delivered in packaging that would have taken about X 50 connectors, it is nicely presented and easy to open.

The connections are easy to use and fit all of my many HDMI cables which are of different makes.

They allow me to extend / join cables to the length needed dependant upon where I am connecting laptop to TV

OVERALL

The connections do all that is required of them.

Delivery included as a prime member saves me time and money

There is no indication as to postal charges or standards in regards to non prime members

I'm always harping on about how great the Amazon Basics range of products. They are often the cheapest brand but also the most accurate and reliably advertised brand.
This coupler also doesn't disappoint!

I purchased this to extend a HDMI cable and to give me an easily accessibly split point in order to easily fit a HDMI capture card when required without needing to keep pulling out the TV everytime. It worked a treat.
I knew that Amazon Basics wouldn't let me down, my only concern was whether fitting this would sacrifice some kind of visual quality. This was not the case and I can confirm that the coupler can pass through 4K HDR 60hz without any issues or stuttering whatsoever.
I would recommend this to anybody and can also endorse it for use with higher end gaming use.

Simple and small units that do exactly what they’re made to do. I’ve used one, so far, to connect two HDMI cables to provide the length I needed to connect a media player to my TV. I didn’t want to buy a new longer cable when I already had some. The quality of the video and audio is not effected at all - I can’t notice anything wrong or a downgrade of the A/V quality, so I’m pleased.
