Very nice optical cable.The cable itself is very thick which offers a lot of protection for the internal fibre. It’s not a ridged coating, this has a lot of give which means that if it gets pinched or forced around a corner it’s not likely to break the fibre. Slim cables are nice and easy to route but they are far more fragile than this. If you use this in an area that get disturbed often you’ll appreciate the extra protection this cable has.The connectors are easy to get a grasp of, so many other optical cables have such small connector ends that working with them is extremely difficult as they always want to twist between my fingers.Plugging in the cable everything fired up an was working. The connectors are a nice snug fit, no loose connection that can slip out here. With an optical cable, it either works or it doesn't so there's no monkeying around looking for what might be wrong. Also with optical cables there is no interference, no electrical noise and no distortion caused be poor soldering of wire to connector.Considering the price, this is an excellent investment, high quality for low price. I've found that in a lot of the AmazonBasics products.
