I like the dual pack as it gives you lots of possibilities for slime making, and it's much cheaper than even buying bottles of glue from the dollar store. You can make really nice slime with either one. You can go for the classic pink Blob, or neon green ooze, or make a creepier shade of pink to make it look like oozing brains. The recipe I follow is:

Add 1 tsp borax to 1/2 cup warm water in a large bowl and stir well. Set aside.
Measure out 1/2 cup white glue. Add food coloring as desired and stir.
Pour glue into the borax solution and stir it up until it clumps together.
Discard remaining water and knead with your hands until it's no longer sticky.
For clear glue, use 1/4 tsp borax.

This worked great for making slime. I bought this for my daughter who is 4 and she played with the slime for nearly 3 hours. Once it dries up I’ll be making it again!

Materials
1 container of glue
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup hot water
1/4 tsp borax

Mix the glue and 1/2 cup of water in a bowl or container. In a separate small bowl dissolve the borax completely in the hot water (1/2 cup). This borax solution is the activator. Add the borax solution to the glue and start to stir. It will reach a kneading consistency. It will look questionable but firms up with a bit more stirring/kneading.

We added glitter to ours as per preschooler’s request- didn’t interfere.
