I tend to play most of the time on Handheld mode, or I set it close to me so I can play sitting or laying down with the joycons on my hands. I was tempted with the idea of a stand but never really thought about spending money on something that looks so cheap like a plastic stand.

Today I can honestly say it's been the best accessory I've bought for my Switch, it doesn't feel like cheap plastic and it definitely relieves me of not knowing where to place it.

Good for quick tabletop, prefer the second dock we bought. For a quick upright stand, works well. Does not fit in carry case which is major downfall. For cost paid, does what it needs to. Purchased skull and co dock with core processor afterwards, would recommend that if looking to dock.

A really good, reasonably priced stand for your switch, especially if you want to charge the switch and play in tabletop mode. There IS a kickstand on the switch, however this will not allow charging and therefore it's necessary to get a stand such as this one. The stand folds flat, for easy transport, and has various viewing angles which is great for different table heights or if you play sitting on a bed. The only negative was that the little shelf you pull out to sit the switch on was really stiff and difficult to pull open (this was potentially just a defect in the stand I received). All in all a great budget stand for the switch.

Having bought this dock so that I can charge and play handheld without bending cables I'm impressed. Totally reasonable price for a nice bit of kit.
It has four slots so you can vary the angle of the switch, compacts nicely to fit in the case so when you are on the go it can come with. Also to hold it in place it has some slight prongs to dock on so it's centred.
Not found any cons with it, does what it says and is useful for me.
