In the late 2020’s and early 30’s corporations managed to render the major governments of the world obsolete. The big corporations owned most of the territories as well as the majority of the world’s wealth. While many of the old traditions were still observed in various parts of the world, the true power was with the corporations.
In the late 30’s, what would be known as the Corporate Wars began as larger companies initiated hostile takeovers in a whole new fashion. Employees, armed with corporate weapons, warred for dominance. It was a bloody time, and many small corporations were destroyed, as were a lot of civilians in the wrong place at the wrong time…as well as those who’d been buying the wrong products.
On May 1st, 2067, it all ended in nuclear fire.
Sixteen outstanding authors have come to this Fallen World with stories that take place from the islands off the coast of Washington to the plains of central Europe; from the swamps of Florida to the streets of Philadelphia. These stories document the fall…and introduce you to people who might just drag civilization back from the ashes…

His favorite is military science fiction. However, he also pens Zombie Apocalypse (ZA) in the form of his 2016 Dragon Finalist "A Time to Die", book 1 in the Turning Point series. The series is complete and available on Amazon, continuing with Book 2, "A Time to Run", and finishing with "A Time to Live", released earlier this year.
His most successful works to date can be found in the Four Horsemen Universe (4HU), which he created and now shares with a slew of incredible authors including his partner and publisher, Chris Kennedy. The first book in the series, Cartwright's Cavaliers, was his 2nd Dragon Award Finalist in 2017. In the 4HU, nine books were published in 2017, and 20 (yes twenty) more released in 2018. Among those was A Fiery Sunset, coauthored with Chris Kennedy, it was his 3rd Dragon Award finalist. Since then the series has continued to expand and branch out, including a YA series (Black and White). If you love Military Sci-fi, this is the series for you, with well over 50 books and more coming every month!

Sci-fi author Ian J. Malone has written in a variety of arenas over the years, ranging from public health to news and sports. When it comes to his fictional work, he’s a firm believer that nothing shapes a person’s writing like experience. That’s why he credits his tenures in radio, law enforcement, and military contracting for much of his inspiration, plus the legion of family and friends who’ve stood with him along the way.
Beyond writing, Malone serves as co-host of “The Dudes in Hyperspace Podcast” and is an avid fan of audiobooks (he’s legally blind). It’s also not uncommon to find him at a ballgame, a concert, or somewhere out by a grill.
Malone is an active member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America and a resident of Raleigh, North Carolina — but he’ll always be a “Florida boy” at heart.

David Alan Jones is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as an Arabic linguist. A 2016 Writers of the Future silver honorable mention recipient, David’s writing spans the science fiction, military sci-fi, fantasy, and urban fantasy genres. He is a martial artist, a husband, and a father of three. David’s day job involves programming computers for Uncle Sam.

Christopher Woods, writer of fiction, teller of tales, and professional liar was born way too long ago to be talking about it and has spent the majority of his life with a book in hand. He is known for his popular Soulguard series and creating the shared universe in The Fallen World series. He has also written the Legend series in the Four Horsemen Universe as well as several works in the Salvage system universe. With books ranging from fantasy to post apocalyptic and military science fiction, there should be something for everyone. He lives in Woodbury, TN with his wife Wendy. As a former carpenter of thirty years, he spends his time between various building projects and writing new books. To contact him, go to www.theprofessionalliar.com and send him a message.
Brisco Woods was born and raised in the Appalachian region of East Tennessee. His first pair of boots were issued to him by the USAF when he showed up to basic training in homespun pants and bare feet. The Air Force, in all its wisdom, thought he would be a great candidate to work on nuclear ICBM’s, so he was sent to the cornfields of Illinois to learn what an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile was. After some intense training and discovering what real winter was, he thought, off he went on his first over seas assignment, to North Dakota.
Through his career of 23 years in the US Air Force, he went on to work on avionics equipment on several different air frames and then spent his last 4 years in Command and Control. He eventually got tired of going into work on the ground floor and taking an elevator down to the concrete cave that was his life, and retired.
After having to write a separate resume for every job he was applying for, he decided “to hell with this” and became a Realtor.
Upon seeing how successful his little brother and sister were as authors, he caved in to his brothers constant jabbering about writing and made a story in the Fallen World universe that this same brother had created.
Since the first story was received well, he has branched out to some SciFi and done a few of stories in Kevin Steverson’s Salvage Universe. He also completed a novel from the original Fallen World tale, another short story in Among The Embers, and a novel from the character introduced there. He has an immediate follow up to that novel and two in the Salvage Title universe in the work with more to come.
Marisa Wolf was born in New England, and raised on Boston sports teams, Star Wars, Star Trek, and the longest books in the library (usually fantasy). Over the years she majored in English in part to get credits for reading (this...only partly worked), taught middle school, was headbutted by an alligator, built a career in education, earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and finally decided to finish all those half-started stories in her head.
She’s currently based in Texas, but has moved into an RV with her husband and their two ridiculous rescue dogs, and it's anyone's guess where in the country she is at any given moment. Learn more at www.marisawolf.net
A Texan by birth, and temperament, Joseph grew up reading everything he could get his hands on.
After high school, where he would read the day away when he could, he went into the lucrative career of retail, then construction, because working in the hot Texas summer was much more preferable than being shouted at by angry customers.
After a few different construction jobs, he finally found his niche, and is out of the heat, working in the office, the air conditioned office, working hard on designing fire alarm systems.
After some prodding from friends, he started writing, publishing his first short story to the Grantville Gazette Universe Annex, which can be found here https://grantvillegazette.com/wp/article/night-of-the-fireflies/.
He's been working furiously, pounding away at keyboards, putting words down, and weaving stories he hopes people will enjoy.
He continues to churn out words from his home north of Houston, with his lovely wife, and his amazing standard poodles, daughter, chickens, two ducks, and one quite serious goose.
He is taking care of business, one word at a time.
Hey, I'm Jamie. Thanks for checking out my page.
I'm Canadian, born and raised in Ontario, spent some time in the CF reserves, and went on a peacekeeping mission when I finished highschool. Moved to the left coast to work in law enforcement, and retired in early 2021. Now I live in the Maritimes, and write full time. I'm married to the lovely Michelle, and we have cats.
Cheers
J
Alex Rath is a best-selling Science Fiction and Post-Apocalyptic author, currently residing in Columbia, South Carolina, with his wife and elite gymnast daughter.
With works published in the Four Horsemen Universe, This Fallen World, and the Salvage Title universe, Alex has now spread out with his own Colonization Science Fiction with the Terran Space Project, starting with "Seeds of Terra."
By day, Alex is an IT professional, and has been for 25+ years. He has worked as a programmer/developer, webmaster, information security specialist, and solutions design specialist. This background allows him to incorporate some technical savvy into his stories, while his experience interacting with non-technical customers allows him to do so in a way that isn't confusing, or 'too technical' for a layperson to understand.
I'm an army veteran currently living in Northern Virginia, though my heart will always belong to Minneapolis. I enjoy writing Urban Fantasy, intertwining the realistic with the fantastic. My debut book, The Devil's Gunman, is the tale of a supernatural assassin operating in Minneapolis. When I'm not writing, I'm either reading, gaming, or spending time with my lovely partner Victoria and my two dogs, Francois Guizot and Robert the Bruce.

Not one text I disliked and all did fit awesomely within the universe!
My favorite story was the last one, because... Kade!
Action, humor, sadness, life!
There is still hope for this Fallen World.

My only complaint is I want to see each of these stories expanded into novel so that I can see either more back story on some of them and/or to follow more of the activities/adventures that come after the episodes I have just read.
