Okay so this is book ONE of 2023!
Let’s just say I have started the year off on a high note.

I have loved every book so far that I have read in this series. But this one not only hooked me from the very start but it then took me through a whole raft of emotions. I must say I was laughing, mad, broken, then put back together all in one book! Now I just have a massive hangover!

Do yourself a favour and read it. But do it in order. That is my advice. You need to read Dante, then Sebastians story to really understand and love this one

I was so excited to read Cade’s story and when I was lucky enough to receive an Arc copy I couldn’t wait to jump right in. I knew I’d love Cade and he didn’t disappoint. I love when the men fall first and hard, specially big tattoo’s dangerous ones. Cade and Izzy’s story was beautiful, although Izzy did kind of annoy me at times, I did enjoy seeing Cade love her for who she is and how well he brought her out of the shell she was trying to force herself into. He wanted her flawed, emotional and fed.
Highly recommend this book! And the whole series! I rarely read all the stand-alone a in a continuing story as I get too attached to the first couple I read and while Dante & Lilah do hold a special place…I love every single Armanelli boy and their story.

Didn't like it. Booktok recommended it but even the spice couldn't save this. The fmc kept getting mad that no one takes her seriously and then acts like a loose cannon all the time. Didn't really feel any actual chemistry with the leads, just hate, sex, temper tantrum, sex. Boring and immature.

Halloween party one year later. The two of them finally give into the sexual chemistry between them. The next thing they know, they're at a work retreat for the next two weeks.

Izzy was strong and independent. She wanted to make a difference with her work. Cade was a recluse alpha hole. He came across as cold and detached.

Together, they were electric. The passion transcended the paged of this book. I absolutely loved Cades possessive behaviour.

I did not read the previous books in the series. This can be read as a standalone.

This book took me 2 days to read I would have taken a day but house work and kids wait for no-one. I loved it cade and izzy are my new fave romance couple up there with hardin and tessa Christian and Anna and Bella and Edward. You may disagree with my faves but we all have our own choices. Cade and izzy had me hooked on every word in these pages. I'm even considering buying the paperback to add to my shelf of favourites. I'd recommend this book to anyone and wouldn't be surprised it was a book of tiktok like den of vipers. Well worth reading if you loved vipers you will love this. 5 stars all the way for me. Fantastic writing and a great story.

I did enjoy this book and couldn't decide whether to give 3 or 4 star.. 3.5 would have been the right amount if it was possible.
Liked Izzy & her special (& hidden) brand of craziness... Cade was one of those odd reclusive, stalker type characters who was somehow still hot.
Didn't like the lack of discussion, boundaries and consent before breath play and other risky sex acts. Also, I don't like the lack of condoms... I'm all for characters (& real people!) enjoying sex with as many partners as they want.. but romance authors should help promote safe sex!
The breath play/choking is not really something I enjoy reading about but if it is going to happen it should at least be discussed beforehand so it is safe and consensual. Some people use romance books as sex education and try to copy what is done... so please don't encourage unsafe sex practices!
Another reason I gave 3 rather than 4 stars is the ridiculous amount of roles on government and important organisations Cade is supposed to have... in the previous books he is portrayed as a hacker who looks after security for his family and suddenly he's head of data security for government and pentagon etc etc!! Daft!

Well this was a wild ride! This book has been all over my for you page on tiktok and now I know why!

Cade Armanelli is a man obsessed. It’s an enemies to lovers romance, but you find out very early on that there’s only hate coming from one side and that’s the side of Izzy Hardy. There was so much angst in this book, it was glorious. There was high drama and some of the spiciest scenes I’ve read!

Izzy is a total badass. Everything she’s gone through has made her so strong! And Cade had me blushing… I’m obsessed! I so enjoyed reading his pov and seeing how he felt about her, and seeing the lengths he’ll go to to protect her!

Enemies to lovers with forced proximity and one bed is one of my favourite combination of tropes, and this book seriously didn’t disappoint! I can see why it’s so popular!

I definitely enjoyed this book and was very hard to put it down. Cade is absolutely delicious and Izzy is a really good female character. I liked their relationship, the chemistry was nice but I feel like the overall plot of the story wasn’t very developed and the author tried to get some action in (not the steamy type) towards the end. I didn’t fully understand the whole government and maf!a links thing - it’s probably explained somewhere else a little better.
