I do so enjoy a love story that is peopled with families and others rather than focussing completely on a loved-up couple, and this completely fitted the bill. Also no swearing - another bonus for me. Just a great story about a girl realising the geeky boy she’d disliked growing up had become an extremely nice, kind and thoughtful man - and good-looking too! The fact that the action takes place over Christmas just adds to the warmth of the book. Highly recommended, and I’m now in the process of sourcing other BM books!

Yet another great Beth Moran book. She's very good at taking people who don't believe in themselves for whatever reason and turning them into the beautiful people that others around them see. They finally get it, they can be honest, caring, sometimes a bit mad, and loved. They don't have to settle for second best because they have the best already, they just have to reach out and embrace it. And there are lessons along the way for all of us. Loved this book.
