This book took me so long to read. I kept forcing myself to put it down. Read another book in between chapters. I wasn’t ready to finish it knowing there was no release date for 9.

I read this entire book in denial. The anticipation was ridiculous to say the least. I have never in my life cried so hard from a book. I had to sit up in bed to not drown in my tears I was sobbing so hard… his chapter. IYKYK.

I’m afraid this series has corrupted me so thoroughly that I will never find another that I love as deeply. Bravo twisted sisters. Bravo.

I really enjoyed most of this book, but like everyone else, I don’t understand why there were several chapters that really didn’t add to the story line. Milton? Why.

I was very hopeful to finally have this story come to an end and finally have the happy ending. Darius is back; Darcy and Orion are free of the curse, BUT - Caleb and Seth are still a mess, why haven’t they become mates yet? Same question for Max and Gerry. Lionel should be dead, shadow bitch should be dead. Instead, they added the Satan spawn and a new enemy? Why? Why? Why?

Rather then add these random fillers, they couldn’t have easily tied everything up and let us have what we wanted.

I am curious as to how long we will need to wait for the 9th book now..

Zodiac Academy 8 is a thick one (1244 Kindle Pages)! While I enjoyed reading the book, there are a LOT of characters' points of view (more than 10), not to mention some of the chapters are incredibly long! One chapter alone was almost an hour and a half long, according to my kindle reading time. Because of this, it has taken me more time to get through the book.

It is best to read Sorrow and Starlight without spoilers, but I will say it was a journey! Some parts of the storyline were predictable, while others were in true "Twisted Sisters" style, and I did not see them coming. I enjoyed the storyline and will continue to Zodiac Academy 9 when the final installment comes out. I am giving a rating of 4 / 5 Stars.

Loved getting back into this world, and these characters, but the story itself seemed like a little more than it needed to be. Still full of tears and laughter, but didn't quite hit the height of expectations set by the last couple of books. Definitely more slow moving (less plot advancement) than expected.
But I'm still waiting impatiently for book 9!

Wow ok we got so much goodness. I loved all the small jokes the sister weave throughout the book to lighten up the darker and emotional scenes. They really know how to run an emotional slaught3rhou5e 🥹

I feel like this was really setting the stage for the finale in the next book. We also finally got some good scenes between a certain two that I’ve been waiting for 🥰🥰

I’m still unsure on how the ending of this book will play out into the next. (The cliffhanger isn’t sad imo) I didn’t see it coming at all and was completely thrown off. I swear I never know what they are going to do 🙄

Oh and lastly the spice hit ✌️

I’ll be here patiently waiting for the next book 😶‍🌫️

I have not started this one yet. I have to prepare myself for the heartache that is coming. I find that the sisters are very good writers and I like the stories they craft. Theirs are no the typical rom-com type books I am use to. I will eventually get into the book when I feel I am able. In the meantime I still have the 'fae' books to get to. Those are in hardcover, so summertime I will read those.

This was a long anticipated read that delivered! I was crying within 1% of the book and countless times thereafter. This had me feeling all the things! Leon's chapters were probably one of my favorites. When I got to Ds chapter towards the end I was torn apart to be put back together & could literally feel a year long worth of sorrow lift from my chest. I read to feel something in my cold dead heart and these authors just know how to do it.
