I have a mix of curl textures from 3b-4c, I get crazy shrinkage and my hair tends to be dry. I wanted a cheap leave in to get me through this awkward growing out my shaved head/mini Afro stage and I’m pleasantly pleased. I usually use the Cantu’s and the ORS’s but where I’m from the black beauty supplies are hard to get to with pandemic lockdowns right now and did I mention this is really cheap? I have less hours at work so savings are great. I moisten my hair with rose water in a dollar store spray bottle that I buy from the grocery store for a dollar, and then, if you have really dry hair like me, I have this jar of coconut oil I got from Walmart for 3 bucks. My hair feels nice and soft! I mean as soft as my wooly texture will allow lol. Is it the Lamborghini of leave-ins? No. It’s a Toyota; affordable and reliable. I would order this again. I’d say go light on the product if you have a looser, silkier curl and lock in the moisture by applying to moistened hair and sealing the moisture with an oil if you’re on the more afro-y, kinky coil side of the curl spectrum 🤷🏾♀️. Also want to add that it has a lovely mild smell, that’s not overpowering at all. Been smelling more like roses than jojoba and coconut oil.
