Ilea likes punching things. And eating.
Unfortunately, there aren’t too many career options for hungry brawlers. Instead, the plan is to quit her crappy fast-food job, go to college, and become a fully functioning member of society. Essentially - a fate worse than death.
So maybe it's lucky that she wakes up one day in a strange world where a bunch of fantasy monsters are trying to kill her...?
On the bright side, ‘killing those monsters right back’ is now a viable career path! For she soon discovers her new home runs on a set of game-like rules that will allow her to punch things harder than in her wildest dreams. Well, maybe not her wildest dreams, but it’s close.
With no quest to follow, no guide to show her the way, and no real desire to be a Hero – Ilea embarks on a journey to discover a world full of magic. Magic she can use to fight even bigger monsters.
She’s struggling to survive, has no idea what will happen next, and is loving every minute of it. Except, and sometimes also, when she’s poisoned and/or has set herself on fire. It’s complicated.
Read the story that took Royal Road by storm with over 60 million views and counting.

About the series: Join Ilea as she is transported to a world full of monsters and magic, where power is measured by one's class, level and skills. Watch her grow in power, and recklessness, as she wields ancient hand-to-hand combat magic that can both heal and destroy. This Isekai story has a dual-Class LitRPG system where every skill, class and ability can evolve. Ilea’s tale is equal parts comfy slice-of-life wanderings, goofy jokes and brutal, blood-pumping battles with nightmarish monsters. Join her as she delves into forgotten dungeons, hoards snacks and generally does whatever she feels like.

This one was fun! I enjoyed the character classes, very inventive system. Also, most importantly I liked the fmc. It was nice to have a badass female main character who was also humorous and enjoying chaos. My dnd character also loves punching, so yay!

Writing is good quality. Great main character. I am looking forward to reading lots more about Ilea's adventure's. I am and will be recommending this if you have enjoyed other litrpg title's.

Absolutely fantastic!
Uses positive parts of litrpg without suffering from the negatives: It's more of a mechanism for the writer to get the story started imo, is explained in-story as how individuals interpret magic, and the importance of numbers diminishes as the heroine begins to actually understand how things work. This is a story, not just reading someone play a video game.
Chapters 150 to 200 (ish) are significantly darker than the rest of the story, but it returns to normal and remains that way afterwards.
I read original web novel, technically not Amazon version. I devoured all nearly 900 chapters that were available when I found the series, almost non-stop until caught up. I eagerly await all new chapters.
This story is in my hall of fame for best stories I've ever read.

The original web series was a wonderful story. A fantastic main character, well-developed side characters, enjoyable storyline, and an excellent progression system.
This novel takes everything that was good about the original story and improves it, tightening up plotlines and correcting all the little errors that sneak into a self-published work. I am very much looking forward to all the sequels still to come.

The greatest compliment I can give any author is that I want them to write more of a story. This is certainly the case here with this superlative first book. Wonderful world imagery and characters. I have a thing for strong women leads and this one certainly delivers!!

This book sucked me in from the beginning, the story starts before the MC has moved worlds and you see something of her attitude and outlook before everything she knows is turned on its head.
I started reading this book as soon as I got it, next time I looked up to answer the call of nature, the clock informed me the 10 mins of reading was actually 4 hours. Of course it would be rude to stop the MC as she was telling me about her experiences so I had to curl back up to finish the book. A 12 hours well spent - no page is wasted, any shorter and the book would be missing necessary elements. 10/10 would recommend, maybe set aside the day to read it else you may find yourself missing plans.

I've read this online a few times, but still bought the book and must say its great - lovely re-write of the key elements in the first few chapters.
For those wondering, I dont find this has "obtrusive" LitRPG elements, mostly I find this is a good balance between stats and story with the stats mostly just in the background, providing progression and targets rather than being a part of the story itself. they also dont come up as often as in other stories.
I think this book has some nice elements, such as a female mc who, well, is actually a person without some of the tropes that tend to happen with other books.
If you fancy a good story and a nice escape without any huge overarching plot line (yet) this is for you.

Very good read

Like many here, I have read many in this particular genre. They can be quite hit and miss. This book has great characters and a decent story arc. Character development is very good and believable (to the point I thought this author knows some of my friends).
The book is a decent length, and the fight sequences are clear, exciting and ramp up in an understandable way. No sudden superpowers that ruin the story and spoil all future conflicts. Finally, really enjoyed the way the world was portrayed and revealed during the story. Highly recommend!!

Surprisingly good

Well maybe not that much of a surprise it did have a fair few reviews.
It is nice having a book with few technical issues, less time dealing with a brain stop.
Story was good, protagonist wasn't annoying although I originally wasn't keen on the female protagonist, swiftly disproved although she can be a bit flakey in keeping attitudes and behaviors consistent.
Recommended.
