An Affordable Quest 2 Strap With One Fatal Flaw

First off, this strap is a lot more comfortable than the stock Quest 2 Head Strap. The pressure is more even so I no longer feel any pressure points on the top and back of my head.

It would be perfect if it wasn't for the ratcheting system on the device. Every time I tilt my head downwards, or move around, the strap gets looser, like the ratcheting system can't lock in place. So in the real world, if I am playing Thrill of the Fight, or Beat Saber, I have to pause in the middle of a round/song and re-tighten the headset strap. The issue isn't a dealbreaker but it makes me question the durability of this device. Like, if the ratcheting mechanism is already slipping, what will happen two to six months from now?

Aver, si que es una mejora frente la de stock, pero al principio no supe usarlo y es muy incomodo
Yo tenia la de stock con una batería bastante pesada detrás e iba muy bn
Estas se caen todo el rato hacia delante y por eso hay que apretarlas mucho, para que estén bien puestas y que veas el visor correctamente tienes que poner la corona muy arriba en la cabeza y parece que no sujeten nada, al final es muy incomodo y acabe ajustándolo para que la presión sea en la cara, en las oculus y no en la corona de arriba, después de unas semanas ( no juego mucho) acabe ajustándolo perfectamente, hasta que vino un amigo a casa y se las enseñe y desajuste todo otraves…

Sobre la bateria… no vale la pena, te da como 20 min mas de uso, si no tienes dos para cargar una mientras gastas otra no vale, pero oye, esta bn, tienes un poco mas de tiempo de uso que al final se agradece, solo que no es tanto como esperaba, la batería vieja que tenia (la que pesa mucho) me daba como 6+ horas, pero esa la tenia para contrapeso.

Me encanta que vino con el cojín detrás para que no resbale, solo que con pelo un poco largo se sigue moviendo un poco si no aprietas mucho.

Conclusión que si, vale la pena si te esperas perder bastante tiempo ajustándolo para que quede exactamente donde se desee.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he has spent every day of the holiday's so far with it basically glued to his face, only taking it off to charge it. I was blown away when I found out it could be connected (wirelessly) to my gaming PC and use my graphics card to run much more graphicly intense games. When I can manage to get a turn I paly Half-Life: Alyx and I just got Skyrim VR. Blown away... I have had some of my best gaming experience's in my life with this thing. One thing to note is that it definitely needs the head strap upgraded if you intend to play longer then a hour. I bought the BOBOVR M2 Plus Head Strap with 2 magnetic 5000mg power banks that attach to the back of it for continuous play by hot swapping the batters. Highly recommend, 5 out of 5 for what you get for the price and 6/5 with upgraded head strap!

Getting a decent head strap is probably the biggest upgrade you can give your Quest 2. I've found that the BoboVR M2 Plus is so much more comfortable than the default elastic strap that it's changed my enjoyment in VR altogether. If you wear it correctly, the M2 Plus distributes the weight across your forehead and around your head, which makes it more stable. Due to this design, facial interface on the Quest 2 isn't pressed into your face, so is more comfortable and a much better design for glasses wearers (like me). All up, I spend more time being immersed and less time adjusting or readjusting. It's also stable and firm when using VR for fitness.

This was a great improvement over the strap that came with the quest 2. Very comfortable for longer wear. It's a tight fit in my kiwi case, but it makes it. The only reason that I have it a 4 instead of a 5 is that it sometimes loosens when squatting during intense workouts, which can be pretty disruptive. The price for the improvement of quality in wear is unbeatable. Great purchase.
