The code had theatrical and extended versions for Google Video service.
The movie was great.
I'd actually prefer if it came with only 4K disk, for the price to be little cheaper.

Not the easiest story to follow!

Also, [SPOILER ALERT #1] I don't like movies in which the hero, essentially, become willfully-blind and lets the villain walk away. That was what happened here.

[SPOILER ALERT #2] Superman was sloppy, out-of-historic-character (eg., he was arrogant plus temperamental), and out-of-touch, with Society, during most of the film.

[SPOILER ALERT #3] I did not like how Batman's voice would change (drop an octave and become raspy) every time Bruce Wayne put on his Batman costume.

[SPOILER ALERT #4] Also, why were Batman and Superman wearing costumes, at all? They both seemed to know the other's true identity and talk openly about it! For example, while addressing Batman, somewhere outdoors, in Gotham City, Superman calls him "Bruce". Similarly, in the end, Bruce Wayne admitted to Wonder Woman (now, in disguise) knowing that Superman was Clark Kent. So, implicit was that he also knew her true identity and she knew that Batman was Bruce Wayne.

So, this movie did not work, for me!

Fearing that the actions of Superman are left unchecked, Batman takes on the Man of Steel, while the world wrestles with what kind of a hero it really needs.
All the actors exceed your expectations. Laughed at the absurdity of Jesse Eisenberg playing Luthor? Laughed at the pathetic Eisenberg is at his best. He's the most sinister and brilliant Lex we've ever seen. More a conniving weasel than a real estate mogul. Ben Affleck playing the Caped Crusader? Affleck gives one of his most thought-provoking roles. This movie is art. Also kudos to Zimmer. His score is both haunting and epic at the same time.

I had watched some of the others on Crave or the Movie Network first and since I had some Marvel movies I decided to fill out more DC ones. This was my first airing of this one in full. I thought it was enjoyable in the two hours. Kind of a preview of what was to have gone after that, Though some will admit the quality isn't up to par with some of the Marvel stuff but sometimes the writing can let you down a bit. The characters were enjoyable for the most part and I was glad overall buying this product.

Probably the worst story line ever with Batman versus Superman and we know who should have won, but it has the same actors as several of this series so it becomes one of the collectibles. As for 3d, it is ok for about 80% of the movie as for the most part you feel the depth. There are a few places that it feels like cardboard cutouts walking around a photo background, but it is a movie that is converted and it is what it is. If you have a 3d collections of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, then this is a "must have". 1 Star off for being a 2d to a 3d conversion.

Can't really complain that much about the movie. They did a good job trying to introduce new characters. Not sure why it got such bad reviews. I did watch the extended cut, so maybe that makes a difference. Lex Luther came out strong, but then faded and sputtered towards the end. Not as good as the Bale Batman trilogy, but on par with Man of Steel. Hoping Justice League is a stronger showing.

Comparando lado a lado la versión que salió en el 2016 junto a esta los cambios saltan de inmediato, el color es más natural en esta edición que en la del 2016 donde todo se ve con colores más cálidos (amarillos y rojos); la definición también es otra gran modificación, mientras que la película del 2021 se ve más nítida, la del 2016 se ve un tanto "borrosa" y con mucho grano, y qué decir de las escenas IMAX que, aunque son pocas las secuencias que aparecen en este formato no dejan de ser una delicia para los ojos. No trae doblaje en latino, pero sí viene subtitulada. No cuenta con ningún extra. ALTAMENTE RECOMENDABLE SI SON FANS DEL GÉNERO Y DE LA PROPUESTA DE SNYDER.

Una edición remasterizada con los colores corregidos de la versión anterior.
Vale la pena una segunda compra?
Depende de que tanto notes los errores en la edición normal.
Los cambios son mas notorios en el color rojo, como por ejemplo en lo rojizo del fuego durante explosiones como en las escenas de la pelea final.
El segundo cambio es en la relación de aspecto que cuenta ahora con las escenas filmadas en IMAX, que es aproximadamente unos 20 minutos de la película. Pero ojo, aquí (al igual que en ZS Justice League) se usa el formato IMAX de cine y no el casero, el cual usa el cuadro completo de la imagen y nos da las barras negras a los lados. (aquí anexare una imagen la cual se puede ver cada relación de aspecto, la izquierda es la relación de la primera versión usada en el 4K y Blu ray FHD, la del centro es la relación de aspecto IMAX casera que se suele ver en la películas de Nolan, y la de la derecha es la usada en esta nueva versión y la misma que se uso en ZS Justice League)
Toda la película al igual que la primera versión esta masterizada en 4K nativo, la diferencia siendo las escenas IMAX que obviamente tienen una resolución espectacular, pudiendo ver cada detalle y con una claridad simplemente increíble.
El sonido es el mismo increíble codec Atmos que se uso en la versión anterior, el cual puede ser usado como material de demostración.
La presentación física es muy básica, sin Slipcover y con un solo disco y el código para la versión digital.
Ojala les ayude a decidir si volver a comprar.

Für den Film an sich vergebe ich 5 Sterne, hatte ihn zuvor schon im Kino gesehen und fand ihn richtig toll. Was mich nervt, ist dieser Wirbel um 4K UHD. Die Qualität bei diesem Film ist minimal besser als bei der "normalen Blu-ray" und bei 'nem guten 4K UHD Player (z.B.: Panasonic DMP-UB704EGK) fällt der Unterschied nicht wirklich gravierend aus. Für meinen Geschmack werden Filme diesen Formats momentan viel zu teuer angeboten. Gut, dass es immer mal wieder Angebote gibt.
