sturdy!

after researching for the most reliable (affordable) bike rack, I chose this one. All the other brands (Thule included) had reports of it breaking apart and letting the bikes fall down in the middle of the road.
This rack is sturdy, doesn't wobble and does it's job. It may not fit 4 big bikes, but for my familiy it's perfect!
Would give 5 stars if it came with more straps. but good deal anyways

Sadly I must give this one star due to the strange length of the draw bar (the part that goes into the receiver. For some reason they have chosen to make this with an unnecessarily long draw bar so that it does not fit into a standard 1 1/4" receiver. I have used several other bike racks and trailer hitches with no issues, and I have never seen a draw bar quiet so long.

If you have a 1 1/4" receiver and there is a back on it, this will not work for you.

Also the 2" adapter that came on it is tightened down so firmly I almost broke an Allen key trying to remove it.

Otherwise it looked like a fairly nice rack, but unfortunately it was unusable for me.

It does the job.

I wish the tolerance the adapter for 2” receivers was tighter so it didn’t wobble so much.

I love the tilt feature that allows me to fully open the tailgate on my truck with bikes mounted.

The threads on the hitch bolts are a pain when attaching or removing the rack. The threads prevent me from using my locking hitch bolt. Fortunately, I have a padlock that I use in place of the cotter pin. If I get annoyed enough, I may bore out the threads.

Don’t expect Thule for this price and appreciate it for what it does offers.

DOES NOT HOLD MANY MODERN BIKE FRAMES.

Bought this because of it's good reviews. In 1995 this would have been a great bike rack. If you have a traditional adult size frame with straight across frame members it's fine. However, if you have a kids bike or any mountain bike with angled frames, it MAY NOT WORK. AT ALL. I read the instructions and tried every option to no avail with 2 of our 3 bikes. The one that "fit" was only mounted by putting one of the frame members above the mount and then using the rubber strap to hold the other side of the frame, putting half of the bike's weight on the strap. If the strap broke or came off, the bike would swing down and hit the road. It also caused a number of deep scratches due to the frame contacting a sharp screw trying to mount the bike. Make sure your bike frame is a traditional straight bar from handlebar to seat before you consider this bike rack. Otherwise it is a well built, sturdy product. Just didn't work for any bike we own or any I see in bicycle shops today.

Although the hitch rack serves its purpose it moves too much for my like. Since this fits both 1-1/4" and 2" receivers, the all-metal insert seems to work itself loose and makes the whole rack wobble. There is a threaded hitch lock as well that does not stay tight.
I don't feel to uncomfortable loading up the bikes since I have a rear camera that allows me to see the rack at al times.

Not recommended for womens', girls', or kids' bikes, which are the only kind of bikes I plan to haul. Yes, with some manipulation, you can almost get them on there, but I'm going to have to purchase an additional crossbar and hope that helps as the arms are just too far apart for anything other than a mens' bike. Disappointed.

I tried putting three standard bikes on this rack. Only one fit properly. The tie down system on this is counterintuitive. But really I think for it to work you need to buy their add on for 'non straight' bike frames. Who has a straight bike frame anymore? Overall poor product.

I have bought another brand and returned it due to ridiculous wobble. Thought I'd try this one..It doesn't budge! If you aren't wanting to spend $300+ for a bike rack, buy this one. (Used on a 2016 Forester)

Edit:after a week i have realized the damn pin that lets you move the rack out if the way so you can open the trunk DOES not line up easily. I have to fight witg it every freaking time...makes using the back really frustrating. Im going to have to attempt to widen the holes somehow....
