Gosh I really love this series! Lindsay Buroker has just hit the top of my list of “automatic buys”.
The story continues with Matti working alongside the sexy elf assassin to find answers about her mother. With a little deception, a lot of sexual tension, and a whole hell of a lot of action, Matti rolls with the punches and tries to stay on task. The secondary characters continue to shine and Matti remains one of my favourite FMCs to date. I can not wait to devour book three.

Maati still doesn’t quite trust her Elven assassin but will she eventually believe what he is telling her. Devious Elf princesses don’t help with Maati trying to find out of her mum is still alive, dragons destroying property and strange secret bases containing magical artefacts are all part of clues that may or may not help Maati find out the truth.
