This book is more about her "Dynamic Teaching and Learning" stance (apparently covered in an earlier book she authored) with a light sprinkling of some Google tools and remote learning tips and A LOT of plugs for her website at the end of every chapter. There is a portion of the site that is accessible only through paid membership. This text is, from what I can see, one big advertisement. I looked over the site. It seems that much of what you get in this book you can eventually find on the site for free if you search hard enough.
Do NOT purchase this if you are interested about how to design a best, or even functional, blended learning classroom. Do NOT purchase it if you are looking for evidence-based pedagogy in K-12 blended learning. And most certainly, do NOT purchase it if you are planning on attempting to use it as a supplemental text for a course you teach.
At best, this is a book about ideas that one might use in any classroom, be it face-to-face, blended, or fully online. My hopes of finding a good book in this text were dashed, unfortunately. I am more than disappointed.
