I just got these today. Couldn't wait to test them out! I decided to test them out while running around doing errands. I found them very comfortable. They feel a lot lighter than you would think. I did size up half a size to allow thicker socks. If you don't want this option, just stick to your normal size. Another bonus I'm 5'4 and I feel like they give me a little height. This is a leather boot. I noticed somewhere someone said it is not. It’s treated so that it’s waterproof. I was impressed with the quality. I didn’t keep the boots because… very heavy on the feet. It’s a winter boot, made for weather. I was looking for a lighter dressier boot. The buckle makes a noice when you walk. Didn’t like that. Just overall Harvey boot. If that’s what you need, a good boot to where out in the cold and slush, go for it. Worth the money.

I am not even patient enough to wait for better lighting for my picture. I put these on the moment I pulled them from the box. They are soft and supple with a thick rubber heel. They are heavy - as in quality -not as in clunky. Aren't we all tired of paying a lot of money for shoes and boots that will never last and seem cheap? I feel like I've had them for years. They are stylish but don't scream teen or biker boot. They do say I'm still allowed to be a bada$$ :) I usually order an 8 to have extra room for double socks with winter boots, so I ordered an 8.5 based on other helpful reviews. I'm wearing two socks here and they fit perfectly even with my Hobbity wide feet. (Tip: Two socks never make my feet sweat. One pair, however, DOES. There's probably a scientific reason for this, layers and thermal heat or whatever, but try it if you're a sweaty feet person).
It's hard to buy online, but reviews sure make it easier. Hope this helps!

Oh my gosh these just arrived and are so stylish and beautiful! I thought they may be tight based on others' reviews but they are incredibly comfortable. They will look so great with opaque tights and skirts, leggings... The brown stitching at the base gives it a lovely finished look. These boots are so well proportioned in scale of heel, toe, height, etc.

These are the most expensive boots I’ve ever purchased—and the most comfortable right out of the box. I wear a size 5.5 in every shoe I purchase, and these were a perfect fit. I bought them to wear in Colorado, and they were perfect. I was on my feet in these boots for 15 hrs a day for a week, and had no discomfort. One thing I really like about them is they are more fitted to my ankle than most. I also like that they give me a little height-I’m 4’11. I’m thinking about buying them in another color too.

What a beautiful and well made boots!!! Quality is there ! The only thing- they run small . I am size 6 in shoes , in boots prefer to have a little extra room , so usually buy 6.5 or 7. I bought this boots in size 7 and they fit like a glove. Comfortable but tight. I feel that I could go a half size up. But if you have narrow feet or don't mind close fitting boots - those boots are great !!
