I love Helen Harper and this didn't disappoint. The characters are great, and although the main character Mack felt a little frustrating at times, it also showed growth. I really loved all the different Otherworld characters and personalities so much. The world they live in is so interesting and all the relationships that form and change too. I would definitely recommend this book.

I love that the plot is unpredictable and you never expect what trouble Mack is going to end up in next.. Does she finally end up with hunky, grumpy, sexy Corrigan? Not telling. You'll have to read the ending for yourself! I loved this series! Well worth the purchase price, and I will definitely look into reading more of this talented Author!

Mackenzie Smith is a very entertaining, prickly unusual human being with supernatural abilities.
The only thing that I don't like is her lack of personal hygiene in the first 2 books...Eww.... if only these details are not mentioned, then the books will be better.

Woooow... The story would be good with a lot of potential... but I think at the end of the series the writer must have run out of ideas... It seemed like a rush ending to me... But the whole story was rather interesting, the characters well not really... but still I could enjoy it. Mostly the good, witty conversations... Sarcasm at its best... :) So I would recommend this book if you are looking for something light and easy to read as a modern fantasy but if you are looking for a more serious character development and meaningful read this is not for you at all... It was a good night read for me... You know in primary school you got a bad mark if you use the same words all the time... well I got annoyed with it that the main character was thinking all the time the same things... and it was really repetitive!!! I could turn 4 pages and she was still at the same point that you could read in the previous monologue as well... so this part was very annoying... You can guess the end anyway... no surprises... so I would not read it again... IT was a one off...

The strong female characters with believable and likeable personalities and flaws. The slow burn of the main romance and the good subplots. I have to say Harper is now one of my favourite authors. Her books have an addictive quality and she has a brilliant gift for creating worlds and filling them.
