About the Author

Carl E. Marshall was raised in rural Oklahoma and received his Bachelor's and MA in Mathematics from Oklahoma State University and his Doctorate in Statistics from Iowa State. He became a professor of Mathematics at OSU and created the university's graduate program in statistics. He was known by his colleagues as "Mr. Statistics of Oklahoma."

David P. Marshall is the coauthor, with his wife, Kate, of The Book of You: For My Child, with Love; The Book of Us: A Journal of Your Love Story in 150 Questions; What I Love About You; What I Love About You, Mom; The Picture of Me: Who I Am in 221 Questions; and My Life Map: A Journal to Help You Shape Your Future. He lives with his family in northern California.

I am a PK (preacher's kid) from Texas, grew up in Chicago, and lived in New York, Boston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Denver, Mexico City, Munich, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia before settling back in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have two lives. During the day, I'm the CEO/CFO of a nonfiction publisher, working for Berrett-Koehler in Oakland. We publish books to help our readers create positive change. The Book of Myself: A Do-It-Yourself Autobiography, which I wrote with my grandfather Carl Marshall, was the first of our journal series, and remains a bestseller to this day. How odd, a blood of blank pages,save for a quretion on the top each page . Who on earth is going to fill in a page with a pen ?
This book must have been written before the typewriter and shortly after stone and chisel was a form of notetaking.

Just a list of questions and only a few of any use to me.
