'Lindsay Teague Moreno is a no-fluff, no-fear leader for entrepreneurs. This book is the perfect guide to starting a business and fulfilling your dreams.' --John C. Maxwell, #1 New York Times bestselling author and world-renowned leadership expert
'Boss Up! should be mandatory reading for every female entrepreneur. It's what you wish your girlfriend had told you about what it takes and what to expect as a mom, wife, and badass business owner. Lindsay's relatable humor will have you laughing while you lap up invaluable lessons on mind-set and strategy and the skills you need to kill in business without the guilt.' --Chalene Johnson, New York Times bestselling author and business and lifestyle expert
'In an age when it's easy to call yourself an entrepreneur, here is a book that tells you the truth about the hard, beautiful, rewarding work of owning a business. Boss Up! is the most practical guide to running a business I have ever read; every woman should read it.' --Jeff Goins, bestselling author, The Art of Work
'Lindsay combines both heartfelt vulnerability with no-nonsense practicality in a way that speaks to today's female business owner. She makes not-so-sexy topics, like finding your niche, standard operating procedures, and managing a team, feel fun and doable. As an artist, I could've used a book like this five years ago when I was just starting out. This is the book I needed then, and it's what I need now as I continue to be a leader in my industry.' --Amira Rahim, Better Than Art School creator
'You will absolutely snort-laugh and definitely ugly-cry while learning these actionable, no-BS lessons for building a killer business--and becoming a better you while you do it. You've been warned y'all!' --Kelsey Humphreys, author and motivational comedian
'Lindsay cuts through the crap and gets to the heart of what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. Lindsay delivers hard-nosed business advice while making you laugh out loud with the realities of being both a mom and entrepreneur. Boss Up! will give you the permission to get out there and fuel the fire that is already burning within you!' --Chari Pack, Persnickety Prints founder
'My only complaint with Lindsay's book is that I didn't have it when I started my business seven years ago. Lindsay has the sharp mind of a woman who means business but the heart and humor of a friend you want to talk to for hours. As an entrepreneur who doesn't have kids, I do want them in my future, and reading Boss Up! left me optimistic, not with it being just an option but a wonderful option for me.' --Jess Ekstrom, Headbands of Hope founder and author, Chasing the Bright Side
'You think you know what to expect from business books? Think again! Lindsay breaks the business book mold with Boss Up! She shows women around the world, regardless of circumstances, that with the right tools, perspective, and personal authenticity, they, too, can be successful in every aspect of life. Boss Up! is another fantastic example of her dedication to momtrepreneurs everywhere. I'm admittedly not in Lindsay's target market as I'm not a mom but it doesn't matter, I've learned so much already. This book is already a favourite and one I will be reading over again for sure.

I love Lindsay's writing - it's so refreshing and natural. While reading her stories, I've been crying and laughing out loud (thanks Michael). But there's not only stories of her life - with this book you'll have some serious bingo moments! And it doesn't matter, if you want to sell a product or service - this one is for all the boss ladies out there.
Bonus: You'll also find some nuggets about social media!

This book is real. Lindsay puts it out there. She tells you where she royally screwed up and how she succeeded. In a world where people Ra-ra about all their successes all the time this is powerful.
This book is practical. There is not ethereal pie in the sky story here. Lindsay has done her work. She busted her butt against a lot of naysayers, she sacrificed things in the short term for the long term gain, and she tells you exactly how she went about doing in practical steps that anyone can take and apply to their own business.
This book is funny! Lindsay tells it like it is and adds a dash of humor that makes her feel like she is the best friend you've always known was out there.
This book is a game changer. As an entrepreneur with both a network marking business and a consulting business the one thing I struggled with was I didn't fit in the boxes everyone wanted me to be in. This book & Lindsay's story are an encouragement for those who don't fit into boxes others try to put us in. It gives us permission to go out and do things the way that we are gifted and created to do them in...and shows that by doing that you can be successful.
I highly recommend grabbing this book. But I don't recommend getting it if you are going to read it and then put it on a shelf and say "that's nice." Grab it, mark it up...take the steps outlined in it to move toward your own goals and dreams. Boss up, Baby....Boss Up.

This book is unbelievably egocentric. As a working mom, i find deep fulfillment in myself as a mother; but also as a wife and business operator. Yet numerous times this book pushes that you’ve forgotten the “old you” and must live and pursue life as you did before children.
I find it hard to support or learn from a self centered woman who preyed upon women’s weaknesses and dreams to get herself ahead, while bashing the women who are happy with themselves, their parenting and marriages.
Things certainly aren’t perfect. I expected a book to help me boss up and manage my business a little more professional..not a memoir of pointless egocentric fluff

I have to say that many times I find it hard to read business books from beginning to end. However, this book really kept me engaged, as it is not your typical rehash of tips that you run into many times. I love that Lindsay shares not just her victories, but her defeats. She presents her journey in a very real and relatable way, including her challenges and the lessons she learned. Then she takes it a step further by providing a practical outline that the reader can personally apply to their situation.
Through the pages of Boss Up!, Lindsay Teague Moreno has been able to “virtually” mentor me and provide valuable practical tools to establish a plan to begin to make effective progress with my business. Since my advanced copy was digital, I pre-ordered this book through Amazon so that I could have my “mentor” with me at all times, and fill it with my notes and thoughts as I move forward on my journey.

I have followed LTM for a few years, I read her earlier book, have heard her speak at a convention, and listened to her podcast. What you see is what you get.
I find her sense of humor and no nonsense approach to business refreshing. As someone who has managed in the corporate world, participated in several direct sales businesses, and started my own company, I found something for everyone, and not just mom's.
I most appreciated the questions and activities and wish I had thought about many of those things when I founded my company. I'm excited to go back and complete the work.
Is this book perfect? No, but neither is life. If you can read the book and walk away with just three actionable items, I think you will feel it was worth the investment.
