Best trailer on the market

We LOVE our Encore X trailer!! We took this everywhere this summer! We had the Honey Bee originally but we feel the price of this trailer is justified by just how much nicer it is! The suspension makes a huge difference, we live in rural Alaska with horrible roads and this makes the ride so smooth for them!! Also the bench seat alone is worth so much in my opinion, they sit upright and so comfortable versus the sling seat where they leaned in towards the middle and felt like their backs were so uncomfortable and made them grumpy about touching each other.
It’s super easy to convert from trailer to stroller and back. We bought an extra bike attachment so we can easily unhook from my bike to put it on my husbands so we can take turns hauling them. The cargo is very spacious and can do a decent grocery haul or all of our beach gear.
We are getting a stroller kit for when we travel through the airport as the one it comes with sticks out so far. Excited to try out the accessories that are available with this one. Our honey bee wasn’t comparable with any of the kits.
100% recommend this trailer to anyone!

Only thing I'd change is in retrospect I'd buy the one that reclines b/c it takes a lot of finagling to prop my toddler's head up once he falls asleep.

I will say this though. . .we go up and over curbs, bumpy terrain, all sorts of different crap and my kid LOVES it and it stays attached to the bike!, and my 2.5 year old says it doesn't hurt as we ride. great product; expensive! but nevertheless WORTH IT imho : )

Our ten month old baby loves this and falls asleep every time she rides in it. We opted for no helmet this day, traveling at low speed and not on roads. She didn’t need an infant insert. It was very hot out, but we just rolled up the plastic on both sides, added a portable fan up top inside with her, and she was perfect. Great purchase! Fast shipping👌🏼

Minuses:
- Seat belts are bit finicky and cheap.
- Make sure your kids are not too large. The seat belts and leg room are really only ok for kids under 38 inches and 32 pounds.
- For some reason flag is supposed to be used only when handle is down (stroller position).

Pluses:
- Attachment to bike is easy and safe.
- Very lightweight and easy to pull.
- Despite the above it feels safe and sturdy.

I used to work in the bike shop at a sporting goods store where we sold these and I consistently saw people back in buying burley trailers after purchasing a cheaper alternative. The quality of the trailer makes a huge difference in how often and how far your kid wants to ride with you. I strap him up, load up the baby bag behind him, and still have room for toys to bring to the park. I’d recommend getting tire liners to go in them so you don’t have to worry about flats.

Overall, love the product. If I could do it again I would get the X for the reclining seats. I’d love to lean the kids back about 10 degrees so they’re not so straight up and down. Does the suspension work, idk… maybe a little, but I don’t think the 5 point adjustable on the higher end models would be much better.

Only downfall is the width in the cart. I have a 2 and 4 year old and they look tight to me. They have room for another year or two but no more. FYI, my 4 year old is in the 20% for he’s ight and weight, he’s little!

Rides smooth, assembly was a snap, versatile attachments, and the locking mechanism is a top feature over lower end models.

This trailer is great! So much easier to set up than our other one. The harnesses, seat cushions and hammock style seat are way more comfortable for our daughter and niece. The material is great for all weather as we live in Montana. I love that you can use the we ski attachment for winter. This is a great way to get out doing what we love and bring the kids!
