Installing lawn edging using 4' pieces made of rubber. They are designed to be joined using plastic dowels Gentle turns are no issue for them. But I had some sharper bends and a few I wanted to miter. I experimented with several type of glues with no success. I had this already this glue in my shop. The glue does not mention rubber. The amazon description says not for rubber. Well it works fantastic. I made a jig to hold together while gluing. After 4 hours it held together. I left it clamped overnight and the bond is unusually strong for something glued. The rubber pieces are heavy. Carrying it upstairs unsupported with 2 joints it did not come apart. This is not a fast setting glue but now is my go to product. I also have the 15 min version of this glue but this is better. I totally recommend this product

Way better than the syringe type ones that always stick half way through and cost more. I will buy again when needed

I liked that this product made an excellent repair and stays bonded with full strength. This Product is made in Canada. I used this epoxy a year ago and the bond is still holding well.

Repairing Royalex Old Town Tripper Canoe. Filling in large divots that have gone through the vinyl layer of a neglected hand me down canoe. So far so good. Repair going better than expected. I will update once completed and had a few paddles around the lake.
C-Tough Epoxy was mixed with C-Thix 100 Fumed Silica - CAB-O-SIL Silica Thickener.
Update:
Fixed good enough to take a paddle around Buffalo Bay. C-Tough Epoxy has passed the water test. Epoxy holding strong, and flexible enough for bounce in the Royalex. If the Epoxy continues to hold strong I will sand and smooth the patches for painting in a few months. For now it will just be used the way it is to see how well it holds. Hopefull this old Canoe will get many more years of use thanks to C-Tough Epoxy.

Not for ceramic
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 12, 2021Size

Says on the box it works on ceramic, but it did nothing for my ceramic project. Followed the directions to the letter, waited a few hours, came back, and the item I was trying to reassemble easily fell apart when I gently picked it up. I laughed is disbelief because this is supposed to be some fancy "high performance epoxy/glue"? Maybe for other materials, but didn't work on ceramic. Supposedly it's supposed to "gel up" after 90 minutes, but I didn't notice anything. Maybe I had a dud. Who knows, but for $22 bucks it should work the first time. Stinks bad enough to give ya a headache so make sure when ya open the bottles and mix them together you're in a well-ventilated area. Even a small portion is enough to make your head spin.

Just a fantastic product!

This epoxy resin is amazing! I am super happy with this product. It gives you a very long working time. Longer than any other two part epoxy I have tried. You can literally work with it for 40 minutes before you need to stop. The other huge advantage to this product is that it is really strong. The holding strength is very impressive. It also dries flexible which can be a real bonus depending on what you are using it for. I’m currently using it to install hidden tang knife handles and the working time is fantastic. I also use it to glue multiple types of wood, plastic, micarta, G-10, aluminum and copper for knife handles I’m making. No other glue I’ve tried could hold all of these materials together. And when sanding these handles into shape the heat would doom all other epoxy resins I tried. I also have a pair of favorite shoes I wear in the shop. I tried several different epoxy resins to repair them and none of them held. I used this product 3 months ago and the shoes are still going strong. I even ran them through the washing machine and they look great. I highly recommend this product.

Nice long working time assures a very strong and flexible bond!

Use this stuff if you want the strongest bond available. Gel time was, for me, over an hour but I wasn't expecting a 5-minute epoxy so that is fine. Very tough, scratch resistant, slightly amber bond and it fills gaps pretty well. Not cheap but I can highly recommend it.

VERY STRONG EXPOXY GLUE

I will be using this epoxy glue in the building process to convert my "Custom-Built" 2012 Catrike 700 Racing Trike Recumbent into a "Velomoble" in which I will design a Carbon/Kevlar Aero Shell fairing that will allow me to cycle or attain higher speeds. Note: I am able to cycle to speeds of 28 mph at the moment on the flats but with an "Aero" shape inclosed Carbon/Kevlar shell fairing, I would be able to attend speeds of about 35-40 miles per hour or "MORE" using the same energy riding my 2012 Catrike 700 Recumbent without a shell fairing.....Note: I will have to design a "Mold" of the shape of the shell fairing and use the Carbon-Infusion technology to produce a Carbon/Kevlar shell fairing to attach to my Catrike 700 trike recumbent aluminum frame to convert it into a "Human-Powered Velomoble/Vehicle"...

NOT FOR PLASTICS -- AT ALL
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 16, 2021Size

It claims to adhere PVC and most plastics. Tested it twice and could easily snap a 1/2 inch by 2 inch bonding between roughened PVC and Acrylic pieces both about an inch wide. It mixes like normal epoxy, takes HOURS to set and when tested after ~30 hours curing at 80F room temp parts snapped apart easily.
In a word...it is crap. I just threw it away lest I forget in the future and use it on something I need properly stuck together.
