I really enjoyed Kevin's book on mnany levels - from the life lessons and wisdom gained, to his hard won success and proof that dreams can and do come true if you don't give up & work hard at it. His style of writing is compelling, not only because it's often funny, but I found the book difficult to put down because I wanted to find out what happened next. I am inspired by this book and I sure hope that it's the first of many by Kevin. He has many talents and writing is definitely one of them.

Just fantastic! I have just started reading this and I cannot stop. I worked all muscles on my face, from laughing out loud and on the same breath, frowning with sadness for him and then laughing again out loud. Kevin really has been through a lot and he brings this out in his stand up, but this book goes deep into those stories and he provides a different perspective in the hardships he faced. It really makes you think and oh boy oh boy oh boy does it make you laugh. NEVER, has a book made me laugh so much!
Update: book finished in less than a week, i have NEVER finished a book fully!

Having read many autobiographies over the years this is definitely one of the very best. I laughed so loud in parts that I disturbed my partner sleeping at night or when she was reading herself.
The honesty that Kevin has about his life is unbelievable and his insights into success should be heeded by all. Like all people who enjoy success, he recognises what the traps were and the values of failure.
The role of key family members for many of us is overlooked but not by Mr Hart. He recognised that he the product of his upbringing and just as importantly takes responsibility for his own inactions from his youth.
Fantastically funny with an excellent blue print at the end. Read this and enjoy!

I love memoirs because you get to read of the trials, tribulations and triumphs of someone else's life which can give you perspective on your own life. Each one of us have lessons that we are here to learn and how those show up is different to every one of us. Kevin didn't have it easy at all which makes his story all the more inspiring.
