I have been using this case with my Sony RX100M2 and it fits. It could use a little extra space, but as a basic case, the camera fits in sung.
The main compartment is where the camera goes and inside has some padding to provide protection against drops or bumps. For my RX100M2, I found that I have to place it with the lens facing backwards for it to fit comfortably.
There is an additional pocket in the front that allows you to store an extra battery and extra SD cards. I keep a micro USB cable there as well in case I need to plug the camera somewhere for some charge or to transfer my pictures.
The back of the case has a small strap for you to mount the case on your belt, but there is also a strap that clips into the case. The strap is too short to be worn on your shoulder but can be worn around your neck (depending on your height and size as I find it uncomfortable for me, but still doable).
Overall, I am happy with the case, it keeps my RX100MII safe and clean.

The case arrived and it is not the same as how it was described on amazon. The picture online and on the package show 2 clip loops on the back of the case. But the case only has 1 clip loop on the back. The belt that came with is also too short to wear it in cross body style which is needed sometimes while travelling. I can replace the belt with a longer one I have, however the one clip loop on the back will make the case dangle annoyingly. False advertising. If I had known that the case has only one clip loop, I would not have bought it.

This camera case is all crooked, it is sawn crooked, the front pocket is crooked, the logo has been sawn at the front crooked. Very cheap Chinese product, this is what it is and at £12 it is way overpriced. It's probably costing .30p to make.
