Excitement and imagination run wild as Naomi, Melvin, Poppy, Gilbert, Curly, and their siblings get back to making comics with originality and laughter. But wait -- have they cleaned their rooms yet?!
After their chores, the rambunctious group presents even more amazing mini-comics: a thrilling ride in "Chubbs McSpiderbutt," an action-packed romp in "Frogzilla," reflective haikus in "In the Autumn Pond," a candy-coated mystery in "Mallo Cop," and much, much more. By working together, the baby frogs discover that small things can have a huge impact.
In this innovative graphic novel series, award-winning author and illustrator Dav Pilkey employs a variety of techniques -- including origami, acrylic paints, colored pencils, photography, collage, gouache, watercolors, and more -- to capture the creative and joyful spirit of collaboration. The variety of art styles, paired with Pilkey's trademark storytelling and humor, inspires imagination and innovation for readers of all ages.

About the Author
When Dav Pilkey was a kid, he was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. Dav was so disruptive in class that his teachers made him sit out in the hallway every day. Luckily, Dav loved to draw and make up stories. He spent his time in the hallway creating his own original comic books -- the very first adventures of Dog Man and Captain Underpants.
In college, Dav met a teacher who encouraged him to write and illustrate for kids. He took her advice and created his first book, World War Won, which won a national competition in 1986. Dav made many other books before being awarded the California Young Reader Medal for Dog Breath (1994) and the Caldecott Honor for The Paperboy (1996).
In 2002, Dav published his first full-length graphic novel for kids, called The Adventures of Super Diaper Baby. It was both a USA Today and New York Times bestseller. He has published more than seventy books for children, including the bestselling Dog Man and Cat Kid Comic Club graphic novels.
Dav's stories are semi-autobiographical and explore universal themes that celebrate friendship, empathy, and the triumph of the good-hearted.
When he is not making books for kids, Dav loves to kayak with his wife in the Pacific Northwest.

And even now 3 years latter I'm still reading this book! If you are a parent and your child is having trouble reading this book is perfect. It teaches kid's to be creative by making there very own comic strips!
The book follows after Dog Man, witch if you are a Dog Man fan (like me) then you will love this book. Lil Pety (from Dog Man) has started his own club called the "Cat Kid Comic Club!" He starts the club off with his friend Molly, then a bunch of baby frog's join (that are really flipy's kid's) And then 4 books later this is where we are!
In total CKCC is one of the best books I've ever red!
The book follows the Cat Kid Comic Club as they continue their adventures and create their own comics. The story is engaging and the illustrations are vibrant and eye-catching. My child really enjoys this book and it has quickly become their favorite in the series.
One of the things that sets this book apart is the way it encourages kids to be creative and use their imagination. The Cat Kid Comic Club members are able to come up with their own unique stories and bring them to life through their comics.
Overall, I recommend Cat Kid Comic Club. It's a fun and entertaining read that encourages creativity and imagination. My child can't wait for the next book in the series to be released!
These were the first books that inspired her to read. So it’s awesome to find them at such a great deal.
