For the most part the colors are pigmented and show up nicely, however, the silver is barely there, which is one I really was hoping would be bold. The blue is also weak, so is the dark green for some reason. The gold is also actually more of an orange or copper color, which was also disappointing. They glide nice, and the fact that they are twistable is also nice, but can't help be but a little disappointed. If you are looking for a good, bold silver or gold, buy them individually, don't get this set.
