great readReviewed in Spain 🇪🇸 on December 31, 2016
This is an easy read for anyone as intrigued by forts and special places as I am! The writer looks at fort-making in the Caribbean and England and mentions some other great reads on the same topic. As an educator and mother of two, I will put this book on my shelf with pride. It brought back a lot of memories of my own special place in Newfoundland, Canada.
Great ResourceReviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 10, 2013
This book was purchased as part of a children's museum exhibit on fort-building and children's special places. It was a perfect addition to the exhibit that was enjoyed by caregivers and educators alike. Very highly recommended.
