Extra Filtration Process to Reduce Argan Oil Smell!
Argan Oil has a strong unpleasant smell, thus many people dislike it, especially when applying it on the hair and face. That is why our Organic Argan Oil goes through a unique process to reduce its smell. This process does not affect the oil itself, and does keep it with all its natural properties. During this process, steam is injected in the oil under vacuum.
- We do not use any clays, carbon acid or any chemicals.
- We do not use any of the following processes used in refined oils: degumming, neutralization or decoloration.
The result: Organic Virgin Argan Oil with a light nutty scent.

100% Pure & Natural
Only One Ingredient: Our premium Argan Oil is 100% Pure & Natural β No Additives, No Chemicals, No Alcohol, No Added-Fragrance and Not Diluted.

Benefits & Uses

|
|
---|---|---|---|
Hair CareArgan oil is a popular ingredient in numerous shampoos and conditioners because it adds shine and softness; resulting in silky, healthy-looking hair. It also absorbs quickly and doesnβt leave hair feeling greasy. Regular use of argan oil results in stronger, healthier-looking hair and fewer split ends. |
Hair Styling AidBecause it tames frizz and adds shine, argan oil is a fabulous choice for a hair styling aid. It makes hair more manageable and provides an attractive, glossy shine. Before blow drying hair, place a few drops of argan oil on your hands and massage through your hair and scalp. |
Face MoisturizerArgan oil hydrates and softens skin with Vitamin E and fatty acids. Because it absorbs quickly, is hypoallergenic, and has a light non-greasy feel, argan oil is ideal for moisturizing dry, oily, and combination skin, as well as acne prone skin. |
Body MoisturizerArgan oil is a fantastic choice for an all-over body moisturizer. The nourishing ingredients make the skin smooth and supple. Simply apply to damp skin after a shower or bath to lock in moisture. |

---|---|---|---|
Nails and CuticlesArgan oil hydrates nail beds, cuticles, and the surrounding skin, which promotes healthy nail growth. As a result, nails are less likely to break and peel, resulting in longer, healthier nails. Argan oil can also soften dry hands and hard skin on the feet. To use, soak fingertips in a small amount of argan and then massage the surrounding area. |
Dry Skin ReliefMany people suffer from dry skin. With nutrients such as Vitamin E and fatty acids, argan oil is ideal for soothing dry skin. Simply apply a small amount of argan oil to affected areas and massage gently. |
Beard and Mustache OilArgan oil is great for mustaches and beards because it enhances facial hairβs natural oils, thereby increasing shine and reducing breakages. Simply put argan oil on your hands, rub into your beard/mustache, and distribute with a brush. Because there will be no greasy build-up, use argan oil as often as needed. |
Carrier Oil for Essential OilsEssential oils must be diluted before use on skin, which is done via the use of a carrier oil. Argan oil is an ideal carrier oil because it contains Vitamin E and fatty acids. With a subtle nutty aroma, argan oil helps you safely use your favorite essential oils, nourishes and protects your skin. |

I have been using this oil for a few weeks now, and I am very pleased with the results. My skin feels softer and smoother, and my hair is more manageable and less frizzy. I love that this oil comes with a 90-day warranty, which shows that the company is confident in its product.
Overall, I highly recommend Cliganic USDA Organic Argan Oil to anyone looking for a high-quality, natural oil that is safe and effective for all skin and hair types.
PROS

Top reviews from other countries

I bought this to use instead, and it's AMAZING. I can't even believe how soft and shiny it makes my hair. It's oil - so, obviously, the more you use, the oilier your hair is going to look. Use sparingly and keep adding until you're happy.
The one thing I would say is that I found it made my hair smell so gross the next day - a kind of nutty, bad, stale oil sort of smell. So I bought a couple of essential oils (vanilla + ylang ylang - but you could use whatever you wanted), and I mixed them with the argan oil in a smaller pump bottle to make my own scented hair oil. I used maybe 100 drops of essential oil to 20ml of argan oil - but basically just add however much you want until you get a level of scent you're happy with.
Now my hair is soft, shiny, and smells so nice! Highly recommend!

After washing my hair I apply a very few drops of oil to my hands before massaging it through my hair. I try and avoid my fringe hair, as that can look a bit oily if I get too much on it, but oiliness hasn't been an issue on my longer hair. I then comb it through, including the fringe at this stage, then blow dry it as normal. As soon as my hair is dry I can see and feel how soft and shiny it is. I also use a few drops on my face and hands, and love the feel of it.
I like the fact that it's a natural product, too, that isn't full of goodness knows what chemicals and additives, and it being organic is a bonus. For the price I thought this was excellent value as it's likely to last quite a while.

The way I set this up was to pour about one tablespoon of each product onto a white ceramic plate and place the plates in a well-lit (for color assessment), well-ventilated (no extraneous smells) area (photo 2).
All four products were evaluated for color (it should be noticably yellow), fragrance (it should be a distinct nutty fragrance), and freshness (no rancid taste), as those were the categories about which there were the most complaints in the reviews.
Note that these were all qualitative assessments, not quantitative ones--I didn't use any special measuring equipment or take them to a lab for chemical analysis.
The primary assessment was done by my wife. She has worked with essential oils for many years, mixing up her own products from carrier oil and concentrated essential oils--her familiarity with oils came in handy during the freshness assessment. She also has an acute sense of smell (which I don't). She also doesn't use argan oil all that much, probably only 2-3 times a year, so she has no favorite and even isn't at all aware of the popular brands.
The three assessments were conducted as follows:
Color: Each sample was rated on a scale of 1 (no color) to 10 (strongly noticeable yellow color) while being examined in strong, balanced, white light (2 LED lamps, about 4' above the samples and separated by about 6' on a line above and parallel to the samples).
Fragrance: Each sample was rated on a scale of 1 (no noticeable scent) to 10 (easily noticeable, distinctly nutty scent); my wife cleansed her olfactory sense after each sample by inhaling the scent of fresh-ground coffee (a technique used when evaluating the bouquet of wines, she tells me).
Freshness: Each sample was rated as either fresh or rancid, without using a scale (so just a binary rating), by tasting a small amount off of a fingertip (using a different finger for each oil and cleansing the palate with lemon water between samples).
The samples were not labeled, so my wife did not know which sample was which brand. I also didn't disclose to her the four brands being tested, so as to not set any expectations for her.
Here are the results:
Color:
Premium Natural (photo 3) - 6
Kate Blanc (photo 4) - 10
Cliganic (photo 5) - 2
Acure (photo 6) - 1
(Side-by-side comparison in photo 7)
Fragrance:
Premium Natural - 6
Kate Blanc - 10
Cliganic - 1
Acure - 2
Freshness:
Premium Natural - fresh
Kate Blanc - fresh
Cliganic - fresh
Acure - fresh
Summary: The winner was easily Kate Blanc, though Premium Natural was a non-unreasonable second place. My wife's comment on the Cliganic and Acure products was that they were probably overly-diluted with carrier oil, to the point that there was, at best, minimal argan oil in either product.
Again, let me stress that these results reflect my wife's qualitative assessments (though I happen to agree with her on the color assessments), and should not be taken as scientific proof of product quality for any of the four products examined.
