Pros:
-Can make 1 liter of tea at a time
-Can be used on those tealight teapot warming bases
-Clean look to it
-can be cleaned in a dishwasher
-Pours well, better than 3 other pots I own
Cons:
-Not very good for lower grade tea with a ton of powder or super tiny bits, can clog the slits on the bottom and need to be cleaned out manually
-Made of glass so be careful not to drop it, glass can be slippery when wet or when handled with wet hands so your hand may slide down the handle and touch the hot pot, dry hands and handle before trying to pick up with a full pot
-Makes a full 1 liter of tea can be a con too if you only want half or less of that as the water level won't be high enough in the infuser to get a good infusion doing a partial pot of tea.
Other notes:
I am an avid tea drinker and I like to make a whole pot and drink it over a long period of time. I got one of those tealight warming bases and tealights that can burn for 4 hours so I can make a pot and have hot tea whenever. I never tested mine on the stove as I just have electric element stove but I got a tea water heater that keeps water at the exact temp I need for my tea to take at any time. This makes my 6th teapot in my collection now with the 7th still in transit to me. This teapot is more for the north american style of loose leaf brewing as opposed to the gongfu chinese style of brewing. Pros and cons on both of those styles but this pot does a good job overall.
