I’m writing this review as I have been unsuccessful with finding a way to contact the seller. First off, I love(d) this leash. I originally purchased one over a year ago when I first got my pup. It is a very pleasing leash; strong, sturdy, vibrant and easy on the hands/wrists when walking. Never had an issue with the clasp. So, naturally, once my original leash started to deteriorate… I opted to re-order. Upon receiving, I noticed slight “upgrades” which is fine. That’s very common with products. Everything seemed fine… until the rope literally snapped and ripped into two sections within a matter of minutes. To reiterate: my intention was to speak directly to the seller so I have no option, but to express my experience here. It is unfortunate as I really lived my last leash… not sure if the slight changes has made a difference and/or of the quality has changed.

After receiving the leash I gave it a thorough trial. First thoughts on opening the package I liked the looks and feel, really light weight so wondered if it was strong enough. The handle is nice and comfortable having sturdy foam padding. At first I thought the clip looked plastic but in fact it’s metal coated in black. Although it’s lightweight it’s very strong. Not only did I use it on my dog, it had a good workout on my alpacas when I took them to be sheared and believe me they pulled and tugged a lot! It held up perfectly well and easily tied up to a post with one knot. It also stayed clean with no sign of wear. I can confidently recommend it and would buy again.

I’m owned by an 8 pound Yorkshire terrier who tugs like a sled dog during walks. I snapped this pretty leash to her back harness ring, resulting in a more comfortable walk because of the well padded handle. It’s easy to grip or slide onto my wrist until Khaleesi settles down. The leash seems well made. The metal snap is secure, clicks tight but isn’t bulky or heavy on her back. I bought two, the pink & the purple & both are nice colors. I’ve been looking at leashes for several months, & I’m glad I chose these instead. The reasonable price is nice, but more important, a safe secure leash for my excited little puller as we start our daily walk. I’ll definitely purchase from HiKiss again.

The padding on the control part of the leash came off slowly but with in less than a month. Disappointed because this was my reason for trying the leash. Still strong so idk if I wanna just purchase another one because it was my favorite part

love the padded handle! My concern with leashes for my fur baby is that the leash is too thin. He got attacked a lot (still does)because he was fixed late so now that he’s 5 he’s way stronger and on the defensive a lot. I’ve had a few leashes snap on me and with my son who’s high functioning on the spectrum walking him alone, I couldn’t risk it. That being said this leash is so strong and not with that itchy leash material that can irritate your skin. The padded handle is a very nice touch and when I’m pushing the stroller it doesn’t seem to drag like other long leashes which is great because I don’t have worry to worry about it getting rolled up in the wheels.

I was interested in this shorter dog leash as sometimes my 34 pound dog can be a bit of a handful when put on lead and walked. This leash is very well made, clearly careful and well thought out construction. Most importantly, if your dog is prone to pulling hard on the leash when being walked, you will very much appreciate the protection provided to your hand. And it has just a little bit of "give" in it which I find also helps to reduce the strain on my arm when walking an energetic, pulling canine. Very much recommended for these purposes.
