Makes a lovely tall cake!

Easy to use once greased pans. I would recommend filling the pans upto half level for matching baking times given in recipes. Filling it 3/4th increases baking time cause of depth.
Perfect for making layered tall cakes! You can get this pair and make a 2 layer cake or cut up each baked layer into each making 4 layers for a tall cake! Recommended for regular bakers of birthday or party cakes

The only good thing I have to say about these is that the metal feels thick and sturdy. I have been baking professionally for years and have never had pans that stick half as bad as these. The sides are not smooth and have large ridges all the way around on the inside that make it akward to properly Grease, remove cakes, or clean. I tried three different recipes in these with equally terrible results and wasted ingredients for all. I will absolutely not be using these pans again and highly recommend ordering your pans elsewhere.

Pan was perfect for our needs. As advertised.. Fellow Canadian made.. Can't ask more than that! I bought the standard 8" but 3" height for a cake recipe I have been drooling to make

The pan material was thick and very sturdy. I had to immerse the pan in water while cooking. It had discolored a bit but a little work with the scouri g pad took it right out.

I feel these pans could last well over 100 years (that's the warranty) if taken care of... I won't live that long to find out but it's a novel idea to pass it along to the next generation. Lol

If your going to bake.. Really look no further.

Great Pans!

I just purchased these pans as this size is needed for most of the recipes in my new favourite baking book and they are great! The cakes come away from them very cleanly with proper preparation and they are easy to wash. My only "drawback" is that they don't don't stack nicely, so they do need more storage space than many other cake pans.

I am an avid baker and have used many pans. Ordered these because I liked the size and the height as well as the reviews. Arrived promptly, no issues with the packaging or the contents. Used them once (buttered & floured) and the cakes rose beautifully & came out very easily. Used them a second time on the same day with another recipe, used PAM for baking for greasing and the cakes rose beautifully & came out just as easily. Very easy to clean with the soft side of my sponge after soaking for 10 minutes. Totally recommend these baking pans!

Perfect size for stacking and not having too much cake

I really spent so much time trying to figure out what the perfect size round pan would be for making a stacked cake that doesn’t end up huge or too tiny also at a decent price. These are perfect. 2 pans each 8” wide and 3” deep means you can make 4 stackable layers with just 1 bake. For the pictures I uploaded, I actually baked 4 cakes (so used each pan twice) because I wanted a higher cake with thicker layers.
The pans were easy to grease. Baking worked really well and then removing the cakes was easy (I greased and I added parchment paper). Cleaning them was also easy. I’ve used them around 5 times so far, and the metal has’t warped nor change colour. They truly feel sturdy and are sturdy.

These round, 6-inch baking pans made EXCELLENT round cakes. So glad to find some Canadian products. Its best to hand wash them, that's why I didn't give as good of a rating on the cleaning. They are pretty light weight so I wouldn't say "sturdy" but maybe that's good? I also bought the square pans for cinnamon buns this weekend.

These pans are the best. No more flimsy, non stick, easily scratched, thin pans in my kitchen! Crown cake pans are the only ones I'm keeping. The six inch size makes a perfect little cake for two people, or the top tower of a larger cake. I will get parchment rounds for them but the first time I used them with just butter and the cake released easily. Now that I'm cooking for only two people, I can still use my favourite recipes, and freeze one for later. The depth of three inches is versatile too. Next up is a fruit upside down cake. This is going to be fun.
