I really wanted to like this AirTag holder---it's simple, effective, durable and can be attached to a keyring, lanyard, necklace etc. Transparency is nice and the colors are subtle. The price for a 4-pack was reasonable.BUT...it's advertised as being "waterproof", which is why I bought it. It is not waterproof. It is not even water resistant. I had my kids wear these as a necklace every day on a recent vacation. They went swimming in a pool and beach, and the holder leaked every single time. Fortunately the AirTags themselves are IPX67 so they did not suffer any damage. But this product should remove any claims about suitability for water exposure from the product description.

My last “waterproof” case was in fact not that at all & ended up ruining one of my dogs AirTags during an island day not even from her swimming simply sticking her head in the water playing with algae rocks. Needless to say I was not happy!! When these arrived I immediately put them through the tissue test even violently shaking the cup a few times. After 30 minutes all but one case passed which I think might have been due to my shaking & I had a can on top of them to keep them sunk & with just a tissue inside there was give that could’ve allowed the water to leak in & it was just a single drop.
With the AirTag inside the seal seems very sturdy & I like that they wipe clean easily. They’ve already gone through quite a bit of a durability test with my two large dogs whose favorite game is “bite face” where they grab each others face & neck scruff locking down on the occasional AirTag accidentally. Now if a dog actually chewed on this it is a soft plastic so yes they could destroy it but my dogs don’t gnaw on their tags. The tag chime also comes through very well in these tags which I’ve had others that almost completely muffled it.
Lastly, I appreciate the color selection! My dogs each have their own designated colors for all their gear so having the blue & purple options was awesome 😊 I also am using the green one for my keys AirTag. All in all, I’d highly recommend!
