Nothing groundbreaking in this book, but my husband has enjoyed reading it because of its simplicity and a bonus for football fans with all of the analogies. Has some useful tips like how to change a nappy and how to hold a baby. It’s to the point and a great gift.

Got as a joke present for daddy-to-be birthday last year.
Absolutely football mad, so I thought it would be appropriate.
It gives some super advice in a fun way!
The advice was actually helpful and made it entertaining to read with the sports references. Most baby books are all the same, (gets quite boring&repetitive) so this was a nice change from the usual stuff written. (Even I had to laugh at some of them!)
Baby here now, and he's able to put the advice into practice. (However not best thrilled about him trying to ger her watching football, one football crazy person is enough, I don't need two!)

I'm only on Chapter 2 and I've laughed on every page. If you're into football and you're a Dad (whether making your debut or a seasoned veteran) you will love this book; if you're not that into football (like me) you will love this book. Alex has managed to combine fatherhood with the glorious game seamlessly and simply without over complicating either subject. I love the stories and Managers comments at the start of each chapter and was particularly impressed to see that Alex's book has been endorsed by a midwife and psychologist - so there is real help and support here. Bye this book for Father's day - a great present for any Father of any age or managerial skill :)
