About Dana Januszka
Dana Januszka is experienced teacher with over 22 years experience. She is currently working as an independent SEL Instructional Coach in both urban and suburban settings. She is a Co-Founder & Program Developer for Positive School Solutions - helping schools across the country to implement SEL school wide through professional development and coaching so that all staff can embrace the pursuit of excellence in education, both inside and outside the classroom.
Dana began her teaching career as a kindergarten teacher in South Brunswick, New Jersey, and then taught kindergarten through fifth grade gifted and talented. Dana spent 20 years working for the Center for Responsive Schools as a certified consulting teacher, author, program developer, researcher, and professional development designer.
Dana is the co-author of Closing Circles: 50 Activities for Ending the Day in a Positive Way and The Responsive Advisory Meeting Book: 150+ Purposeful Plans for Middle School.
Dana’s experience as a coach and trainer, paired with her research and experience in a variety of school settings, make her a trusted voice in schools across the country.
