Some models has a polyurethane drain hose (tube) included as accessories, but not for this AC. For that I have to visit the store and as inconvenience for me, this earns 1-Star less in feedback. The finishings or the QCs are not that great, I see rows of condenser fins are bent.
Update: During use on the first humid day of the year found out that the self-evaporative feature is essentially useless, just as well I had connected an external water holding tank and it filled up fast. Maybe I am wrong, that is works better without the ext. tank connected but so far not having to drain the internal "tank". Will drain when the "Ft" error shows up and update of the water volume accumulated. I also insulated the duct to cut down the heat generated during the exhaust phase. The price of this AC doubled in price in less than 3 months.
Conclusion: In cooling mode only, based on the answers I received, for efficiency and to reach maximum performance do not use the continuous drain (recommend to disable it ) of adding an external water container at the middle port outlet, leave the drain hole cap screwed in. Just let the self-evaporator feature of the AC do its job of expelling the condensate in the form of warm humid air via the exhaust duct. This saves me the hassle of emptying the external tank of 2.5gallos water every day. For curiosity, I removed the botton rubber plug to find only a couple of table spoons water flowed out. So effectively, I was wrong and the self-evaporator is working as designed. I placed a rubber drip tray as added measure to prevent any leaks damaging my floor. I upgraded my review from 3 stars now to 4. Would recommend.

Noise level is acceptable, I'll note that both fans are on all the time regardless of mode. So the machine is always audible. When its in "cooling mode" the compressor is always running, it doesn't cycle on and off atleast for me. Aside from the compressor, its annoying that both fans are running at the same time since it increases the noise level drastically, putting on the hose will quiet it down but itll add extra bulk.
Performance wise is dependent on the room, but it wont ever reach freezing temperatures it'll just lower the temp by a few degrees at best.
In terms of accessibility the panel on top of the machine is pretty easy to understand, but I wish there where more fan speed settings, other than that no complaints. The remote however has a mind of it's own, it's less than intuitive and it doesnt sync with the machine sometimes. And it has buttons that dont DO what it says since the machine isnt capable of said functions. It's for cost savings but it's not a good touch.
Finally durability. The machine seems well made and its sort of easy to clean and easy to drain, I'll be sure to update the review if theres ever any faults.
All in all it's a solid 300$ air conditioner.

Pros:
It included the hose, hose adapter, and window pieces! I was expecting to have to buy it separately.
It works
The remote is great if you can remember where you left it
Small footprint and it's short.
It's heavy but has handles on both side so it's relatively easy to carry it up/down stairs
Cons:
It's loud, but all AC units are loud. Ear plugs recommended
It's not super strong, but it's only 7500 BTU so that's expected
If you buy it in February, you can save money. Prices fluctuate nearly daily on Amazon. This is why I bought a second one because I saw it and it was $25 less than I what I paid for the first one. Both on Amazon, same seller.
The display light is very bright but the top is flat so you can put a piece of cardboard on top to block the light.
This is my first AC unit and my expectations were low.
I need to find my manual and figure out a better way to drain the water.
I only ever had AC in my car, but at home I kept using fans to cool me down in hot days... but I found with the recent heatwaves this summer, I reached a point where it was like nothing would work and it was the kind of unbearable for a place that is not used to that kind of heat... we don't have AC as a norm for places on the west coast. After a 2nd heatwave, while not as bad as first, I said I had enough... I finally bought this really affordable AC unit, that is granted... not very powerful in BTU's... but it would help during a heatwave if I was sitting right next to it. This thing is mainly used to cool my living room despite it really meant to cool only a small bedroom. Weather has been strange this year, and while unlikely, there could be another really hot day(s) before Fall properly arrives, so I take no more chances. This thing is pretty loud, and not powerful... you get what you pay for because it is one of the cheapest AC units I have seen in price. It comes with a remote control to remotely tune the settings for AC, fan, dehumidifier... the remote is not synced to the machine, so if you don't point the remote at the machine within range what you see on the remote may not actually match what is happening on the machine itself... it's weird. I have setup this unit near my patio door with the install kit it came with, it's pretty easy but will take a few moments to setup. It's not the best AC unit but for the price it will do the job.
