About the Author

Tyler Feder is a Chicago-based artist whose work explores Big Feelings, feminism, and pop culture. She graduated from Northwestern University with a BA in Radio/TV/Film and a fancy certificate in Creative Writing for the Media. After college, she studied comedy writing at The Second City Training Center and began posting drawings online, both of which were equal parts thrilling and terrifying. Since then, Tyler has illustrated Cristen Conger and Caroline Ervin’s Unladylike, Leah Henderson’s Together We March, and many angsty self-portraits. Tyler wrote and illustrated the acclaimed picture book Bodies Are Cool, and she continues to sell prints and the occasional portrait at her long-running Etsy shop, Roaring Softly. Tyler’s favorite color is pink (obviously). --This text refers to the paperback edition.

Dancing at the Pity Party 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5

We understand Death only after it has placed its hands on someone we Love. - Unknown.

Tyler Feder, auther of Dancing at the pity Party book illustrates about life of a teenager after mother's death because of Stage 4 Cancer.
Life is not easy when you lose mother, every minute is bound with their memories. Ultimately the loss of your loved one will make you lose your life for a period. Grieving is not easy, because acceptance is impossible. Living visibly invisible life is intense.
Life from mom's perspective and what if's scenarios are precious. Loss is irreplaceable!!! But Tyler does live and love her mom and memories. She cherish moms favorites and obsolutely she is Mom's fav ❤️❤️. Super cool mom's creative thinking and super and chill attitude is over the moon.
Now how this story connceted to my life? 🤔
My mom survived stage 3 cancer and its sheer luck though she is strong Luck factor was high. its been 19 years she stays strong with us. I am thankful to God and all the guardian angels for giving this bonus time to spend with her. Truely I lived blank life for years looking at her and chemo treatment. If I have anxiety issues its becuase of helplessness at the age of 11.

Its a beautiful book with mindful illustrations. I recommend to you all ❤️❤️
