I replaced a dash camera that would not work in colder weather with this one. Camera works well even after sitting in -30 C weather for days.
I use the swivel camera to point out front to get more coverage as I don't need a camera that points into the inside of my vehicle. Only downside is that on playback the image is reversed/mirrored (but I have found a program that will un-mirror the video during playback).
The regular front facing camera works well and has a clear image and is easily viewed on playback.
So far I recommend this camera.

This camera comes with everything you need but a memory card. The manual is professionally written and easy to understand even though there are a few spelling mistakes. Setting the camera up physically in the car is the easy part. The suction cup holding it to the window keeps working in extreme cold and extreme heat. It comes with a little blue tool normally used to open laptops and phones. I don't know why unless it is to help get the memory card in and out. There are too many options to go in to here. Suffice it to say that it works during the day and at night. It takes video, pictures, and records voice. You can playback on the camera or use a provided USB cable to playback on your computer, alternatively you can remove the memory card and use a provided micro-SD to USB-A adaptor also provided to see and hear everything on your computer. In video settings you can adjust the resolution to save memory, set it to loop, oldest out newest in. You can have the camera automatically set the light exposure settings or do it yourself. You set the time and date the first time you turn it on and then you can have time and date stamps on your videos and pictures. You can set a motion sensor so it can record a loop when someone gets near your car such as when you are parked somewhere. It has a G sensor so sudden shocks of a user defined level will trigger it to take a loop of video. It has night vision mode. In photo mode you can set the resolution and turn Anti-shaking on. There are several menu options so you can set about anything. The pictures and videos are truly clear, and the sound is good although it does pick up some road and car noise. It comes with a power cable that plugs to the cigarette lighter socket and has a USB-A plug on the end so you can still plug other things in. It is limited to 3 Amps. It has an internal battery that will keep it going for a few hours but not for a day. The instructions say not to leave it in direct sunlight or let it get above 170 degrees Fahrenheit. I just checked and the national weather service says a car can get up to 120 degrees in the summer. This camera can do about anything you would need a camera in your car to do.

I finally had a chance to road test this dual camera while driving on a day with heavy snowfall. Not having any smooth dash surface to attach it to I mounted it to the windshield next to the rear view mirror. The suction cup is the type with a lever that allows you to forcibly draw it down once a seal is established, which is much more positive than the simple push-down suction cups.

I did not try out the many operating modes for motion detection, the gravity sensor, or parking options, instead opting for the simple mode where it turns on with the ignition to capture only driving events. The picture-in-picture mode on the display makes it easy to set up the adjustable rear-facing driver (or passenger) camera. The buttons for operating the various functions are imprinted with fairly subtle symbols and are a bit hard to read. I would have preferred some high contrast text, but once you learn the button functions this is not an issue.

I did go through the settings to set the exposure to -1, turn on Wide Dynamic Range, and make sure that the highest resolution recording (of 3 choices) was set. When I was initially testing the camera by using it like a hand held camcorder I felt that the auto-exposure response was a little slow, but in the vehicle this was totally a non-issue.

On the road I could see that the progressive scan of the camera was making the moving windshield wipers look like rubber hoses, but both the driver and road video quality was perfectly adequate because of the relatively low rate of motion. The snowfall looked like it was being taken through a high speed shutter, and I was quite impressed by the detail in the video in the full HD (FHD) mode. Because of the windshield mount I was picking up a lot of wiper noise, but the audio recording was always more than adequate to capture conversations.

The front and rear videos are captured as separate files in short segments with time stamps on the TF memory card, so it is easy to go back and find an event should the need arise.

I still have a hard time understanding how you can get so much functionality for this price. I can imagine finding uses for this dual camera outside of the vehicle such as for a temporary security camera. This seems like a very good value and is highly recommended.

This is a great camera. The video is clear (although compression can get in the way sometimes) and audio is decent. I noticed that vibration didn't seem to be much of an issue on my footage, this may have some kind of motion stabilization. The night mode was surprisingly clear in the cabin and captured a lot of detail. In most of the footage I was able to see our of the rear window with the cabin view as well, which was a nice bonus.

I highly recommend this!
