heard little or nothing about it, however noticed it among the new-releases and read-up a little on it.
Glad i invested, one of the best 'Cops and Robber' movies i've seen in many a day.
The story tells of a ruthless gang of bank-robbers led by Ray Merriman played by Pablo Schreiber who have little qualms engaging in shoot-outs with the police.
Picking-up on the gang and now after a shoot-out tracking them no-nonsense cop and team-leader ''Big Nick' Nick O'brien (Gerard Butler) who during his investigation grabs local suspect bartender Donnie to extract info on the gangs next move, but gets no clues.
Meanwhile the gang are planning a daring raid on The Federal Reserve to hopefully steal $30 million dollars of unmarked notes prior to them becoming shredded, something no other gang had done.
Can Nick and his team pick-up on the gangs plans and stop them ? or are the gang as clever as they think they are ?
Plenty of tension, some good shoot-out action, and a twist in the tail that'll make you smile.
Certainly a film worth a glance
Butler was very good with a complex but slightly warped character and Pablo Schreiber ( from 13 hours ), O'Shea Jackson and 50 Cent all portray solid rolls as "The bad guys".
I'm not going to talk about the plot since this spoils the actual viewing of the film. Overall 4/5
