Lovely Message about Fear

The illustrations are wonderful and make a great addition to the theme of the book.

The author did a great concept writing about fear and how often fear is a concept of perception. The grandpa at the end shows her the way and she realizes that often fear is just an overactive imagination

I’ve been teaching my charge French and this is his favorite book. I purchased a dozen or so bilingual childrens books and this is the only one he asks for by name (in french!). He always repeats c'est effrayant! This book does a good job of using a few verbs and nouns in several contexts so you get an easy feel for conjugation and singular/plural indefinite articles.
