Worth the purchase to save time if you need a new tailgate handle.

Bought with the Dorman 77488 Tailegate handle to fix a broken one. Even though clips are included with the handle, I recommend this in the event that the plastic clips break when inserting the lock rod.

I used these on a 2004 GMC Sierra.

Beware! If you are buying this item to replace rod clips for your Chevy truck tailgate handle, only ONE of the six pieces will fit, and you usually need TWO clips if you're replacing just the handle clips, and you need FOUR clips if you're replacing the the rods. You'd be better off ordering a pair (red/green) or a set of six (red/green) listed on Amazon, although they don't list these as compatible on all Chevy trucks. THEY ARE!

Not good for Chevy Astro Van Door Handles

None of the clips provided in this pack will work for Chevy Astro Van doors. I was hoping the ones that looked smallest in the pictures were going to fit, but they were too big for the door handle rod.

None of the clips included in this pack fit the door on my girlfriends 98 Camaro. Each time I went to install one, the clip was too small to accept the metal rod. And every time the clip would break apart when put on. Tried lube and various ways. Was frustrating that they were all junk.
