Baking tip: I first rolled out my dough with a standard pastry rolling pin, then went over the dough in one pass with the embossed roller.
Cleaning tip: *really* scrub in circular motions with a scrub brush (I used a nail brush which worked great). Closely examine for small bits of flour or dough before storing. I used a toothpick to pick out tiny bits of dough.

Cookie dough can get caught in the grooves, but it's very easy to pick out!
I wish the pattern could show up on softer cookies, but I understand why that doesn't work. I have to make a choice between soft cookies with no pattern and crunchy cookies with an elegant design. But at least the elegant design actually shows up on the dough when it's baked!
