Great resource for anyone leading Professional DevelopmentReviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 20, 2021
After attending a multi-day workshop with Responsive Classrooms few years ago, I had to have this book! I am writing this review after purchasing a replacement copy since my first one was frequently borrowed by so many colleagues. As a part of my job, I lead teacher/educator professional development sessions and this is my go to book for activities that structure meaningful engagement for adults around the focus topic. Afterwards, adult participants can can easily use the same activity structure with younger learners back in the classroom. The suggested activities come with one or two page descriptions or protocols and can be used across a wide range of ages and topics. Teachers always appreciate an activity they can take back and use with their students! If you lead PD, you need this book!
