Your baby’s digestive system is still developing. The odds are that most babies don’t have a lactose problem, so what can you do for your child? Switching to a tummy friendly easy to digest*, lactose-reduced formula may all be that’s needed. A formula that has partially broken-down proteins may make a difference. And that can provide comfort during feeding, and afterwards. *Similar to all infant formulas.
Protein is the food component that triggers allergic reactions in susceptible infants or children. Some symptoms that may indicate a protein allergy are colic, sleeplessness, congestion, runny nose, wheezing, vomiting, diarrhea, bloody stools, or mucus in stools, rash, or eczema. The recommendation is to discuss any symptoms with the baby's doctor so they can be correctly diagnosed and treated.

Gentlease has made all the difference for my 11 week old boy. I planned on exclusively breast feeding which sadly did not pan out. My boy does not latch, so I pump numerous times a day and supplement him with this. At first I had used the regular Enfamil A+ and he would writhe in pain and scream. I finally realized I needed to change his formula so I picked up this Gentlease and oh my goodness the change was almost immediate. He went from being constipated and colicky to happy and pooping normally (2 times a day). I can't say I've used any other brands of formula so I cannot compare but I really don't need to because Enfamil is where it's at for my little bean. I buy this refill box and it saves me lots of money. Invest in the $20 Dr. Browns formula pitcher (also here on Amazon) and you will be happy. I make my boys formula batches each night so it's only a once a day event and it prevents bubbles in bottles.
We mamas deal with so much stress and stigma when we aren't able to exclusively breastfeed but I am so thankful for this brand for helping my little man to thrive. Goodluck mamas and please take my advice on the formula pitcher! Will save time and grieve having it all ready in the fridge!!
My little one has a sensitivity to lactose and this doesn’t bother him.
It took several tries to figure out what was wrong with his belly and finally found that this formula is best for baby
As our little grows we need to upgrade formula. Amazon has always competitive price & we were happy !!!
