After a horrific incident, Swayze finds herself trapped between two lives. Patchy memories and fear for her own safety thrust her into a gut-wrenching journey to uncover the truth.
Will she let her dreams slip away to seek retribution and find the missing pieces to a puzzle that existed a lifetime ago?
“I’m not going to watch you self-destruct. I’m not going to watch you fall in love with another man.”
Or will she discover the only truth that matters?
Epoch pushes the boundaries of what we believe and what we know. It redefines fate and proves that the only thing separating the heart and the soul is an infinite timeline.
“I think a part of you will be mine to love in every life.”

As Swayze rushes headstrong into into hypnosis to figure out Daisy's murder, Nate battles his growing love for Swayze as a young woman unto herself and not merely the vessel for part of Daisy's soul this go round. In many ways Nate is the perfect guilt free other man - he's like being able to gorge on chocolate (that has abs, intellectual depth, and selfless supportive love) and never gain a pound. In some ways he's less present in the love triangle this time, but I think it's because he arrives at a level of perfection of love, generosity, and wisdom faster than Swayze and Grif. He knows Swayze isn't for him in this incarnation. "You're not mine to kiss" is a perfect motto for Nate because it sums up his passion for Swayze but balances it with his moral conviction to her happiness as Swayze rather than Daisy.
In Transcend Griffin tears himself off the pages as possibly the sexiest thing penned by a female author. In Epoch he's still swoon-worthy, but his youth hampers his ability to give Swayze all the emotional and intellectual support she needs to make it through past life regression analysis and remain engaged to her. So he leaves her; and I knew it was coming and I dreaded it, and it was that anxiety that had me constantly putting this book down and returning to it again as soon as I could calm down. Swayze has to face Daisy's ghost in her life on her own. Lest we loose faith in Griffin, Swayze eventually discovers just how far Grif was willing to go for love of her. And she grows and becomes even more deserving of love.
BUY THIS BOOK, the last four chapters and epilogue heal your heart and put a soul-deep smile on your face; and all the feels in earlier chapters are worth it for that!
This is an emotionally raw story which will leave thinking about what comes after, and if love continues even after....

Parts of this book destroyed me. More specifically, Griffin destroyed me. He loved Swayze so fiercely, so completely, but was so scared he was losing her to Nate. I couldn’t help but feel her heartache, jealousy, rejection every time he hurt her - intentionally or not.
Meanwhile Swayze felt like she was losing her mind with everything she was going through. She knew she was hurting the men she loved and yet she just couldn’t stop herself. Morgan was her only constant ray of light, and I think without her, Swayze would have spiralled even further into despair.
I adore the fact that both of them were such good, honourable men. They just wanted the best for her, and for her to be safe, and happy. Even if it wasn’t with them. How can you not fall for them? Fictional shmictional. I’m in love with two non-existent men now. Le sigh.

“I feel like I’m piecing myself together. And I don’t know if Griffin will still love me the same way when he sees the whole me.”
After reading the second book in TRANSCEND DUET series, I felt the same way. Jewel E Ann shredded my heart and when pieced me together with this story intertwined with my soul. I was breathless, torn and surprised throughout this journey of these characters, hoping them to find the light.
Every single character was my beloved one, beyond precious to me, to the storyline, I didn’t want them suffering or losing one another. I wanted them happy, but the horizons were darkening with a threat to Swayze life, with the risk to the relationships about to face hard choices, break apart or stand together and face the truth.
“Don’t steal anything from the past or borrow anything from the future. Pay your dues today. That’s living life.”
The author has woven threads of their story so seamlessly that it felt natural, raw and authentic. It resonated with so many parts of me as I read these two books, I wondered what author has else in store for Swayze, Griffin, and Nathaniel. I didn’t know how I wanted the story to end, my mind was silent, but heart screamed only one thing, make them happy, bring them peace, don’t tear them apart when they went through so much to connect, and love.
Swayze in this book face so many dilemmas, get to grow up and make decisions that she felt was right to do even if the sacrifice was heartbreak. It was a dangerous quest in search of truth to uncover universe secrets of incarnation and find justice for murdered young women lives.
The love to the grocery store guy seems to be the only thing keeping her sane, anchored to this world, to this life she has been born to. Revelations about Daisy’s death and being close to the man she loved bring chaos and confusion to Swayze life. Her relationship with fiancé Griffin becomes distant and cold, which in turn makes her struggle even more. Griffin tries to save his own heart from shattering as Daisy’s memories take over his beloved woman’s life. He wants to protect her from destroying herself, but she is not done exploring and searching.
I admire Swayze strength and courage to look for the answers and discover the truth behind Daisy’s death. Such discovery about her gift to see those memories has been leading them all to resolution, closure, and dare I say absolution. This young woman wanted to see it through the end even if her own life will get jeopardized.
“I said I would protect you. I promised to keep you safe. You were my world, even if I wasn’t yours.” –grocery store guy (such a beautiful mature soul!)
Those four people (Griff, Swayze, Nate, and Morgan) lives intersected with one another had a higher purpose. I was waiting for them to learn what it was and also to see if they will come to appreciate this fantastic gift and somehow discover the place in each other’s lives.
This time around, the author also tempts and tests Swayze and Nate to rekindle their intimate relationships as the blaring connection keeps them pulling together away from Griffin who is ready to leave her jump from the cliff to uncharted waters.
“Swayze, you’re everything. The stars and the earth. The sun of a million lifetimes. You’re the girl I fell in love with. You’re the woman I want to love. You’re Morgan’s every smile. You’re my peace of mind. My salvation. You’re beautiful beyond words. Smart. Sexy. Just … everything. Except … mine.”
“My brain and my heart explode at the same time. This isn’t a chaste kiss on the head. This is the kiss that reiterates every single gut-wrenching word he just said to me. This is an explosion of two lifetimes. This is the ruination of my life as Swayze Samuels. This is the kiss that sends souls to Hell.”
While there was so much angst, torment, and fear, there also was a precious beautiful connection that saved them. For instance, the priceless gift to reunite with your beloved friend when you are falling apart, drowning in grief and yet left to take care of little daughter Morgan. Nate definitely found his when he needed it the most. Swayze helped him to find happiness and appreciate the little girl in his life. Also, Swayze fateful encounter in a grocery store that brought her to the man who loved her even lost in Daisy’s memories and crazy scared to lose herself in the past. He was her home, Safe Island in the storm at this very difficult time. Every connection has been crucial to their story and growth.
I am genuinely astonished, this story etched those delicate, beautiful pieces and shards into my heart, took me through the mill and returned me back home with the sublime feeling inside. Jewel E Ann gave us a story worth reading, loving and talking about. It left me content and whole, and yet I feel like I was on the journey million lightyears away, changed and came back with something precious to carry with me.

Both Transcend & Epoch have probably been one of the best reading experience I've ever had, as I haven't read anything like it.
So this book starts off where the last one left us hanging. I couldn't wait to read this book but when the time came that I could. I sat down with my kindle in my hands and I felt scared thinking if my poor heart could take it ?
I was doing fine until half way and then it hit me, I couldn't take it and I and I had to put my kindle down and take a minute, my poor heart, I couldn't breathe. But I had to finish the story.
I have to say these two books have emotionally and mentally and totally blown me away with all the emotions that left me broken hearted and speechless!
The writing of these amazing books were just outstanding. I would recommend everyone to read them. They are a MUST READ!
I have to say I absolutely love Griffin. He is stole my heart and is now my new book boyfriend.
I believe in soul mates and one true love and believes there is one out there for everyone, somewhere waiting to meet at the right time and place and this story makes me still believe it.

I simply had to find out what lay in store for these characters so I could have some sort of closure for them and myself.
I went into this book with an open mind and heart. I knew how I wanted it to go but I was prepared to let the Author take me where the story needed to go, if that makes sense.
This Duet has exceeded any expectations I had for it. It was so brutally painful to read at times that my heart physically hurt.
I was completely swept away with the lives of Swayze, Griffin and Nathaniel.
This story took some surprising twists I didn't expect. But they were necessary for the story to come full circle.
The impossible seems possible after reading this Duet.
Such a beautiful story that touched me in ways I didn't think any book would manage. Then again I've never read a story quite like this one.
Thank you Jewel E Ann for an amazing beautiful journey that not only captured my heart but my soul along the way.
I loved it with every fiber of my being. 💗

This part of their journey truly reflects how far a person will go for the one they love the most in life. For what that love has already given & for what whispers that love promises in lifetimes to come. It showed me how cruel love can be & just how much the human spirit can suffer by loving someone so completely. How letting them going is maybe the cruelest act of all. How the past sometimes needs to be left there. How the present should be lived to its fullest. But mostly how fate & perhaps destiny already has a path for us all & will decide in this lifetime & the next ones that follow, who your heart & love will belong to for all of eternity.
Beautiful, powerful read .
