About the author

Morgan has been practising BDSM all her adult life. She got an early introduction to kink through the Queer community in the early 1990's and knew she had found 'her people'. She has also spent nearly a decade working as a Professional Dominant, which has allowed her to expand her skills as both a Top and a Dominant. She has been offering workshops, lectures and BDSM training for a number of years as well.
Morgan identifies as both a Sadist and a Dominant. She enjoys playing with a variety of people of all orientations/genders/identities. BDSM is an integral part of her personal, romantic relationships. Morgan is both asexual and pan-romantic.
Prior to her work as a Professional Dominant, Morgan worked in health care. This has allowed her to gain a more thorough understanding of health and safety concerns in kink. She retired due to an injury that lead to chronic pain and disability. It also lead to her interest in medical play, a way to continue to use the skills she learned in health care and to find comfort in the loss of a much-loved career. Morgan has been active in various forms of activism, including LGBTQIA rights and sex worker rights. She is a strong advocate for equality and the human rights of all people.

This can be used for couples, as advertised, or for those flying solo that want to learn but don't have others to ask.
An example of the writing follows. I like this portion because it defines Subspace show acknowledging that not everyone experience it.
"Subspace is an altered state of mind that bottoms/submissives can find themselves, in which they experience intense feelings of euphoria or other emotions. They can feel “floaty” or disconnected from their bodies. It is thought that subspace is caused by the endorphin rush that often accompanies play, but not everyone subscribes to this belief."

The only other issue I have with this book is formatting for the Kindle version; It’s not formatted well at all. Chapters run together, headings are not headings and the worst thing is the ratings in the negotiation checklists. There are supposed to be symbols denoting level of advancement but because of the formatting, They all show up as the same little boxes! I would buy the print version if that’s important to you.
